Nice list! This is not really my preferred weight of game, but there's a few there I'd like to try. I really liked bonsai much more than I expected to. I was surprised not to see Forest Shuffle mentioned too.
Thanks Paul! Forest Shuffle will be talked about in the video I do with Jeremy. I think it's a great game but probably a bit too much going on and to keep track of for most casual and non-gamers.

Thanks so much for posting! I was looking forward to this list as I know the games Sam likes will likely be a hit for my daughter and husband also! Based on your previous reviews, I picked up Savernake Forest, Sunrise Lane, and Leaf for Christmas; all were a hit! Last night, they were up to play a game with me and I said they could pick whatever they wanted - they both went for Leaf. Another 2023 game we played this year and enjoyed is Santa’s Workshop. May I ask how old your kiddos are? My oldest is 14 and more into video games, but my 9 year old loves board games! Thanks again and please keep the content coming! We do have Santa's Workshop too! But have only tried it with our young ones with the family rules and not the full game. Our children are 11, 9, 6, & 4 year olds. Thanks for watching our videos and happy gaming in the new year!

Do you have any preference on doing the real time vs non-timed variant of Fit to Print?
I think they both have good qualities but I actually prefer the real time version as its more thematic to me, with the whole meeting the deadline thing.

It's on my shelf of shame and my game group typically does not like real time phases because of the high likelihood of accidental cheating and rules mistakes, but it sounds like that is not a concern for that game, so we might give real time a go on our first play. 🙂👍

ohmyGOSH -- the transitions are OBNOXIOUS. Way too loud, and incredibly jarring after the back-and-forth dialogue between the two of you. Please, please delete these sounds from your library.

It’s not a gateway/lightweight game, which is essentially what this list is of.
Spoiler alert, Earth will be making my list with Jeremy on Hard 2 Master. I really do like it but after careful consideration I felt it needed to be on my gamer games list and not this list with Sam.
When you are talking about a game, show the pictures of the game. We don't need to see your heads when you talk about the games.
