Not sure if you know, but at 6:25 they are actually referencing Hong Kong's Protest. Some parts of this music video is shot in Hong Kong and the eye patches are meant to represent the police brutality. Many people were shot in the eye by rubber bullets or sometimes even bullets with some metals infused into it causing many people to go blind in one eye. The eyepatch over one eye with the background of Neon street signs (an iconic symbol of Hong Kong) is clearly representing the supportiveness of HK freedom.
