Yeah back in 92-93 I was really into shaq long story short I got the shaq beam team and the magics all rookie team for $450 but I was offered a gem mint 10 Jordan Rookie for $ 500 but of course like always I made the wrong decision and took the shaqs instead of the Jordan rc.
I had my own card shop for 5 years and remember kids pulling Jordans from 86 Fleer packs in front of me. I sold more than 1 Jordan rookie card for 50 cents each. Not bragging...it was just what it was like back in the day.

Lets say they get $20k for the cards each and $7500 for the stickers each; they still lost money (if they bought the box with their own cash for themselves.) As late as 1989, I heard these boxes (Now $80k+) went for $10.
When ever you submit to psa or Beckett , they require you to put it in those sleeves exactly what they are, and with NO! Plastic sleeves! So don’t cringe

There are some people who can literally tell you what the 12 cards are going to be in the pack before opening the pack just by seeing who the first card is in the front of the pack. The first card is clearly visible. This is unfortunate for people who want to buy single packs because its not hard to know which cards will have the Jordan in it. There are a lot of scams out there. The best way to go is to buy a sealed box but at that point you're looking at around $50,000 for a box. That's crazy.
@miketokles9451 that means that the pack flipped sequence or it was repacked either or and only like 6 players on top you can predict a jordan it's a 99% chance with those specific players but that doesn't mean you can't get a jordan without them on top of pack because it is like 2 to 3 flip sequence that gets you a jordan

There are other cards considered his rookie, but the Fleer is definitive, just like the Upper Deck Rookie is the definitive Ken Griffey Jr rookie (though it had the highest print run.) The other issue is that reprints from the 90's were made off the same plates, black or white borders mean it's fake; BGS is the only one that grades them (with the help of the founder of Star.) I think the issues with Star are the gaurantee of a MJ rookie and the 96 reprints. But, it's still a rookie. Technically, the Fleer is just his first Fleer; but since it's his first pack search rookie it gets a free pass.

Seems like when you slide a card that tight between 2 semi hard pieces of plastic, that it would hairline scratch the surface. Why not just use a magnet case?
Yes... If it's a modern "chrome" card you need to put it into a penny sleeve. But older cards you actually risk more damage by jamming it into a sleeve then into a card saver. Anything vintage or older standard cardboard you can put straight into a card saver without a penny sleeve.

Where are the gloves when handling these $2,000.00 a pack cards? I would never ever buy from these guys. They have been called out multiple times for these infractions and still haven't adjusted.
