Unless I’m wrong, I believe there are schools in Japan where students would have the same teacher throughout their entire school life at that school. Which would make it more likely for the students and teacher to get along. At least it would be the same Homeroom Teachers, assuming if they don’t do it for Teachers that teaches different level of subjects.

There are many things to be envious of in this series. But J think for me it's the simple ease with which Nasa and Tsukasa just enjoy one another's company. I have never felt so happy and comfortable with another human. I don't even think I am capable of it. But wow do I envy it...
Except hedonism isn't about positivity of living life in the present. Other forms of thought have come to the same conclusion. This could be just as much of a stoic train of thought. And also hedonism is just plain jane dumb. I mean don't misunderstand living for today is great. But that isn't hedonism just like it is isn't stoicism or some other form of thought. Living for pleasure will inevitably not lead to anything good. No matter how hard the hedonistic peeps cope about it not everything pleasurable is 'good.' It's unfortunately a very limited way of viewing the world. Although I can understand the sentiment. It's just an incomplete form of thought. There's definitely more nuanced and healthy ways to enjoy life that don't require you coping about pleasure.

I only have my own experience to base off of but I have had to struggle to stay afloat since I left my parent's house, even becoming homeless for several consecutive months. the "rat race" isn't a matter of having money for hobbies, it's a matter of having shelter and not starving to death. there's little time to find for enjoyment of things when your stomach is empty, your throat is dry, and you're sleeping in a unheated car in a Walmart parking lot in the middle of winter. Some of us aren't so fortunate that we can adopt the mindset of "tomorrow's problems are for tomorrow's me" when you have to lay the groundwork first otherwise there might not be a tomorrow for you.

Well i did "enjoy" my present with my ex-girlfriend during college, but she was toxic af, i found out she was cheating too. It killed my grades, kinda wish now that I had thought about the future then. So enjoy the present should be done while planning about the future. those two aren't mutually exclusive.
