You now own a house, and in your living room you have 2 shelves with every single manga for Higurashi and Umineko, plus a bunch of rare imports and you're now an animation lecturer and owner of your own art business and brand. Mad world!
I wish somebody ever did a stage performance of Umineko at the cons that I go to. And I go to a lot of them. But nearly all the sizeable performances are either big-4, heroaca, xianxia series or genshin.
I love the Anime that they are cosplaying from.I liked how Battler danced with Beatrice.The Seven sisters of purgatory are cool.I want to know the name of that Beatrice Cosplayer as i love her voice and Lucifer's Cosplayer as i love her voice as well.
Wow! Amazing work! I adore the costumes (although admittedly Battler's wig made me LOL), great choreography- it felt like watching a scene from an Umineko musical! If this didn't win I would be EXTREMELY surprised. *was not at anime boston* And just including Ronove gets extra brownie points- all seven stakes? EPIC. WIN.
Wow! This was an awesome skit! Even if you aren't familiar with the series this gives you a GREAT preview and definitely will spark some interest! Glad to see that skits that aren't funny are able to win things. : )
It's so strange when you know Umineko and you're from germany so that you can understand what's sung in the song. Actually it's from a musical and the song is about a bagnio around the 1850s. :°D
Stop mixing my Master in every little thing... there are many important numbers in Umineko, 16, 17, 18, 19, 34, 07,15,11,29, etc... therefore probability of the skit number being one of those numbers isn't that small... just by existence of Umineko, this level of reasoning is possible for Furudo Erika. What do you think, everyone?
omg u guys should have won. i mean that was pure epic. it got me into watching the series and im hooked on it. if i wanted to do something like that. i would have to get all of my friends invold. but i dont think a lot would want to. but still it looks fun to do a skit. i so going to see if i can do one for anime boston next year.
@aniko247 ur actually suppose do that for the skits at the convention have voice overs and music, you provide that yourself and give it to the people that are running the event. its because so that everyone can hear and plus they dont have mics for everyone. its actually much easier this way and more fun :)
The only reason this skit did not make Best in Show is because the Chono Crusade skit that DID make Best in Show was technically superior. The sisters choreography in this is just ever so slightly off synch in parts. I think this skit has more of that "it factor" though, it's viral and addictive, you can watch it over and over again. For the record- I was the guy that Uncle Yo thanked for the "Standing Ovation" (Your welcome Uncle Yo!)
@AkuunKyande I personally prefer the Visual Novel to the anime. When it comes to trying to solve the mysteries, it gives a lot more clues, has ALOT more music that the anime left and while the anime goes to the end of Ep4 of the VN, 5 Episodes are currently translated (with 6 about 40% done)
Ah, an Umineko skit! I wish I had been there. Btw, it's an anime, but there's also a manga and of course the original visual novel which is a must-read.

Umineko no Naku Koro Ni. The Visual Novel is more detailed than the anime (especially with Beatrice, Shannon, and Kanon). :)
