My headcannon is that the bread doesnt just grow tumors but instead goes to the bread dimention and gets replaced by some living bread, thats why sometimes the bread that got teleported before can escape the dimention perfectly preserved.

I can see the dispencer being op but if there was a way to work that out my best idea it to make it items that youve found/discovered already, and only materials, not whole items. The teleporter is probably balenced? I mean you can (under assumption) only have one enterance and exit unless you have more engineers. All in all i think its balenced? I mean dispensers giving sanity is a bit out there but i hopefully cleared SOMETHING up despite having never played this
