Peraleja Golf has 120 villas and at present the 18 hole course is over grown due to lack of funds. The golf course was designed by Severiano Ballesteros. It has a total distance of 6250 meters and is a par 72. The course feature 4 large lakes connected by a stream that runs through the course. Hopefully with the right investment, this will be a very good resort.

Interesting trip Shaun, The resort itself seems to be well maintained and looking nice, just without the golf course. Looks like it could be a nice place with some investment. Thanks for sharing

Some interesting designs of villa there. Never heard of this one before but probably wouldn’t be on my radar due to being over my budget. Just looked on the map and it’s a stone’s throw from Sierra Golf. Thanks for sharing.

Another golf resort without a golf course incredible. It looks as if there is no guarantee when you buy your dream property on one of these resorts that the golf course might shut up shop.Thanks for the tour Shaun.

With some new construction, there’s hope the golf course can reopen. Just wondering, seeing all the concrete construction, is it reinforced concrete, and how would these structures hold up in an earthquake?
Thank you Rob, all the buildings have reinforced concrete and should be on pillars (underground) as this is a earthquake area. We had one the other night, thankfully just a rumble.
