Vessel gave this song a whole new feel for me. Growing up i was always jamming and moving to this song. Andre brings this song so much hype and i didnt really pay attention to the lyrics. And with this version it really puts me in the feels. With that said, im still REQUESTING "Aqua Regia" and "Give" as your next reactions lol

Tone and delivery changes the entire way this song hits you. Andre 3000 should be very proud that he just exposed the depth of emotion in this cover Atliens fo life!!

Vessel picks songs to cover that actually coincides with his "storyline", he makes you realize that the words are more sad than you think because the original s are such upbeat songs. I love OutKast, and Andre's take is so awesome, the original was one of my all time favorites, me and my bestie would always bust out in song anytime we heard the word "shake" 😂.... we'd start in about shake it like a Polaroid picture 😂😂...but Vessel has slowed it down and made the lyrics really feel sad, so idk if Andre did the lyrics with an upbeat tempo to counter the heaviness or what. Either way, i love both versions. Keep em coming! Love watching people react to Sleep Token 😅

I'm pretty sure that was Andre's plan. Right as the deep lyrics end, Andre says "(Y'all don't want to hear me, you just want to dance)". He hid a sad song in one of the catchiest songs I've ever heard.

@@chrisdunlap5482 agreed 💯. I love that song and I love Vessel's version as well. They both just hit different.

That was the entire point. Our modern concept of love and relationships is so skewed and the song highlights that while being a pop hit. As pointed out already, it's why he said "y'all don't wanna hear me, y'all just wanna dance". A lot of greater lyrical writers have noted that people listen without hearing when it comes to music (think of every person you know who says "I don't know what the song is about, I just like the beat").

Great reaction! Earned my follow brother! This version really wakes you up to the true sadness of the original. Andre really tried to trick all of us old dogs to see if we were really listening or not. Hate to say it, but most of us weren't.

Have you decided what genre yet? We binged your channel last night and subbed so I don’t recall where you talked about this. Prog. They are progressive in their song structure choices, their genre blending and how they present themselves. It’s okay to add adjectives I suppose but at their core it’s prog. Pink Floyd mixed jazz with Rock, Bowie blended everything over his career. Emerson Lake & Palmer, Rush and Supertramp all experimenting with instruments plus genres. Prog can be heard in more places than you might think
