it’s not an animatic. an animatic is a storyboard that moves a little, which are typically not even colored and have no frame-by-frame animation. this is a full blown animation.

That was amazing! The lower fps really gives off a vibe and you can animate so well! Im assuming you animated on 2s or maybe just at a lower fps. The parts with all the different members being shown in shapes on the screen timed with the music was incredible. You made something amazing and I hope it gets the recognition it deserves! I always thought the grey lines on his face were wrinkles but the way you draw them has terrifyingly opened my eyes to realise they could be scars from him crying. the idea of feeling an unimaginable amount of pain while crying is horrifying to me. cool animation, but jesus thats a gruesome detail.

Aaaaa your designs for everyone are amazing!!! Michale sitting on Ranboo's shoulders and short Tubbo being goofy with him while Tommy's moody, Technoblade's cartoony but stoic pig face, Philza's wings, Wilbur with his white streak and Dream in his prison outfit, even Sam as a fuzzy creeper creature with his breather, to sheet-ghost Ghostboo at the end! They're all so dynamic and creative!

okay first of all: amazing, the animation? fluid. the artstyle? consistent. the music? great. but also how do u not lose motivation for something like this? this must have taken a long time so how do u stay motivated to work on the same thing for that long?

I just realized, this would be perfect for a cartoon. The animation style would definitely work, but also the characters and how the CCs mixed themselves and the characters together to create genuinely organic moments of both comedy and tragedy. Seeing a small cartoon focused on the evolving events of the DSMP would be really cool. The building of the L'Manberg walls and the slowly building army within the nation would come at the mid to mid-late point of the first season, so there'd be time to build tension without letting it get stale or overwrought before having the battle, betrayal, shoot out, and brokering of independence as the season two part finale. The first 7 episodes of the second season would be focused on slice of life and some of the smaller wars/skirmishes are played for humor or toned down. Following would be the election lead up for about 4 episodes, with an explosive finale of the twist winning of SWAG2020 and the franticness and chaos of Tommy and Wilbur running, the tone taking a dramatic dip into the "oh no" territory, to so eloquently phrase it. Season 3 follows the rebellion and growth of the Manberg government, with the episode format changing to be comprised of two 9-11 minute segments, usually alternating between the view of Pogtopia and Manberg. After the festival, the tone takes a turn for the worse, and now the first segment can set up the new rebels joining and then why they joined in the second segment, as well as a new POV for the segments comes into play here when such a set up can't be done: Wilbur's Paranoia. Here we see the reality through Wilbur's eyes. The season finale is split into two episodes, the first the build up and eventual battle for L'Manberg, as well as Schlatt's death, which end's on a cliff hanger of where Wilbur had disappeared to a view of Tommy's rapidly paling face, shaking his head in denial, Tubbo going up to comfort him and find out what's wrong, and all that's muttered is "He's going to do it." Hints would have been dropped throughout the season about Wilbur's fascination with TNT so as to avoid this coming off as unexpected for new viewers. The second episode is entirely from the view of Wilbur, his participation of in the war, featuring an internal voice telling Wilbur to do it, and pushing him over the tipping point. The last 7-ish minutes are now new information and continuing where the first part left off, only now removed from Wilbur's POV. It plays out as expected, with the only thing being different or noticeable being that when Wilbur begs Phil, the Wilbur Madness art style expands radially outwards from him to consume the world and our view of it. (art style, it's shifts and deviations from the original or established norm, will be used from here on out to help set/establish tone, general POV, and the mental state of the characters present or focused on) Season 4 begins solemn and broken, but slowly regains the humour and nature of the first two seasons norm, albeit with a great looming fear of the next bad thing to happen. Cue the more noticeable trauma symptoms! The first half of the season ends with an in medias res of the trial to banish tommy in a more sharp art style, cutting back to show the crime and prank gone wrong only it's in the previous and slightly softer art style. Tommy is exiled, and for the rest of the season, up until the last episode, we focus on everyone else and the events unfolding, still with the sharper art style. Allusions are dropped that things with Tommy aren't going well, and that trouble is brewing under the surface, but it isn't until a Ranboo centric episode close to the end that we see some of the horrors going on with Tommy. The second to last episode is from the perspective of Ghostbur, and everything is softer, back to the original art style, but now with pastels, when he has blue to show the (now slightly dulled down) horrors that Tommy is going through in earnestness. The final episode of the season is the fake death and fleeing of exile towards Techno, now ending with the cliffhanger of Techno walking in with a bloodied pickaxe and visible rage. Season 5's first two episodes focus on building the connection between Techno and Carl, and his pseudo retirement, (before Tommy arrived, in the past) only for the second to be the execution and rescue of Phil. Episode ends slightly after the reveal of season 4's finale. Overall, season 5 is a mad dash sprint of 10 episodes, focusing on the doomsday war, Ranboo's betrayl/Dream's accusation (the enderwalk or trance stuff is set up in post credits scenes in the last and first two episodes of seasons 4 and 5 respectively), and spending episodes to the establishment of new or growth in power of old factions/groups, including an episode focused on Sam, his history with Dream, his views on the development of the SMP, and his building of the prison. There is one cannon but not-a-part-of-the-season episode released in addition focused on Ghostbur and his first revive attempt. It's mostly played for humour, but there is serious angst in there. Season 6 starts with a two parter, focused on the final confrontation and Dream's subsequent imprisonment. The rest of the season follows similarly to season 5 to build up the new players now that Dream's gone and how they are actually dangerous, can effect people, and worse in different ways. The last episode focuses once more on Sam, him going about his interactions with the teens, his upkeep of Sam Nook and getting to see how Tommy is trying to heal, but also his roles as a guard and interactions with Dream, the seeds of his manic insanity taking root. This establishes motive and a believable reason for Sam to take Quackity's deal in the last few minutes of the episode, the scene cutting to black abruptly as the two clasp hands viewed from a profile perspective. The season finale is split into two episodes, the first the build up and eventual battle for L'Manberg, as well as Schlatt's death, which end's on a cliff hanger of where Wilbur had disappeared to a view of Tommy's rapidly paling face, shaking his head in denial, Tubbo going up to comfort him and find out what's wrong, and all that's muttered is "He's going to do it." Hints would have been dropped throughout the season about Wilbur's fascination with TNT so as to avoid this coming off as unexpected for new viewers. The second episode is entirely from the view of Wilbur, his participation of in the war, featuring an internal voice telling Wilbur to do it, and pushing him over the tipping point. The last 7-ish minutes are now new information and continuing where the first part left off, only now removed from Wilbur's POV. It plays out as expected, with the only thing being different or noticeable being that when Wilbur begs Phil, the Wilbur Madness art style expands radially outwards from him to consume the world and our view of it. (art style, it's shifts and deviations from the original or established norm, will be used from here on out to help set/establish tone, general POV, and the mental state of the characters present or focused on)
Season 4 begins solemn and broken, but slowly regains the humour and nature of the first two seasons norm, albeit with a great looming fear of the next bad thing to happen. Cue the more noticeable trauma symptoms! The first half of the season ends with an in medias res of the trial to banish tommy in a more sharp art style, cutting back to show the crime and prank gone wrong only it's in the previous and slightly softer art style. Tommy is exiled, and for the rest of the season, up until the last episode, we focus on everyone else and the events unfolding, still with the sharper art style. Allusions are dropped that things with Tommy aren't going well, and that trouble is brewing under the surface, but it isn't until a Ranboo centric episode close to the end that we see some of the horrors going on with Tommy. The second to last episode is from the perspective of Ghostbur, and everything is softer, back to the original art style, but now with pastels, when he has blue to show the (now slightly dulled down) horrors that Tommy is going through in earnestness. The final episode of the season is the fake death and fleeing of exile towards Techno, now ending with the cliffhanger of Techno walking in with a bloodied pickaxe and visible rage.
Season 5's first two episodes focus on building the connection between Techno and Carl, and his pseudo retirement, (before Tommy arrived, in the past) only for the second to be the execution and rescue of Phil. Episode ends slightly after the reveal of season 4's finale. Overall, season 5 is a mad dash sprint of 10 episodes, focusing on the doomsday war, Ranboo's betrayl/Dream's accusation (the enderwalk or trance stuff is set up in post credits scenes in the last and first two episodes of seasons 4 and 5 respectively), and spending episodes to the establishment of new or growth in power of old factions/groups, including an episode focused on Sam, his history with Dream, his views on the development of the SMP, and his building of the prison. There is one cannon but not-a-part-of-the-season episode released in addition focused on Ghostbur and his first revive attempt. It's mostly played for humour, but there is serious angst in there.
Season 6 starts with a two parter, focused on the final confrontation and Dream's subsequent imprisonment. The rest of the season follows similarly to season 5 to build up the new players now that Dream's gone and how they are actually dangerous, can effect people, and worse in different ways. The last episode focuses once more on Sam, him going about his interactions with the teens, his upkeep of Sam Nook and getting to see how Tommy is trying to heal, but also his roles as a guard and interactions with Dream, the seeds of his manic insanity taking root. This establishes motive and a believable reason for Sam to take Quackity's deal in the last few minutes of the episode, the scene cutting to black abruptly as the two clasp hands viewed from a profile perspective.
I want to go on further, but I didn't even mean to spend _this much time_ and effort on this.
