This is AWESOME!!! Until 3 weeks ago I had no idea there was a 'following' of crane lovers! And, I'm 49! Impressive! The time spent to move the 'workers' and make it fluid!
My goodness, what a massive dedication you've had to do this. If there was a nobelprice for model crane building stop motion video editors I'd say: we have a winner. RESPECT CRANEDUDE.
always been fasinated by heavy equipment even so to the point of being a certified heavy equipment operator for several yrs i love how you made all the still pics into a step by step process of assembly
That must have taken you a hell of a long time to do this entire video. I really appreciate what you do. I recognize the efforts involved in your video and the hard work you put into it. Koodos!
Truly amazing. you should be proud of yourself. 6 months of work by far paid off. Music fit great to. I cant think of any words to describe how awesome this turned out
Wow! This crane is nothing short of brobdingnagian !!! Seeing one in real life must be awe inspiring ! The assembly seems endless, I lost count of the truckloads bringing parts and components being brought in. Thanks a lot for the vídeo, I see you put a lot of good effort here, the end result is amazing!! At first I despised vídeos of miniatures, Always preferred to see the real deal, but what you do changed my mindset. Thanks again and keep posting !
Brandon this is our best by far. l couldn't tear myself away from watching this-even with a full bladder sitting with crossed legs..The whole thing is amazing with the dramatic music down to the little men de rigging the cranes after a lift. Truly brilliant and in my opinion worthy of a film makers award. Thanks for all of your time and effort that went into this...
Cool video cranedude, the real heavy ptc liftingcrane's were build here a few miles away where i live, near Westdorpe and Sluiskil, almost in my backyard, it was an awesome sight to see those Giants build and in working condition.
Oh you need to stop bragging! It is not fair to us who can never hope to see such a beautiful sight. Christian, I am just kidding. Lucky you, I am truly ENVIOUS, humbly......well maybe not so much. : )
PTC35 is one of my favorite machines. I have worked with them many times and helped to assemble them. The video production is great. Although few items during assembly shown are not exactly how we assemble it in real life but overall close to reality and video is great.
Awesome! Thanks, yeah I know some things are not exact, as this is a model, not 100% accurate to the real thing but pretty close, I know the 2 main side beams split into 2, the model doesn't though. And the powerhouse comes off, model doesn't. But I tried to break everything down as far as it would go with breaking stuff.
Amazing video love all the attention to detail [like the men using a ladder to get onto the trailers]. Thanks for all your hard work that was a pleasure to watch.
Amazing job you've done. You should be very passionate!!! Thanks for sharing with us your collection of equipments....All comments speak by themselves. Once again very very great job!!!
Holy crap that is an awesome video. U need a bigger house. Can’t even imagine how big the real one is Need the space shuttle just to get to the top of this thing Great work really good really liked it. Oh and the ground crew did a great job too. 👍👍👍👍
Totally awesome! I love stuff like this. It's pricey, but well worth it. I'm saving to build this one and a lot of others for my retirement. You have done well for yourself, many of us are jealous, but thanks for sharing; interesting music mix, it suggest a titanic epic challenge to raising this behemoth, and you have met that challenge, well done Brandon. Give us more.
That was.....AWESOME!! My goodness, you sir have patience. I cannot imagine how long it took to make that video. (my guess 2 weeks). I am simply amazed at the scale and scope of a model like that. I hope you were counting because I wasn't. How many pieces, not including the helper cranes, and the crew? Thank you for a very impressive tutorial as to how these behemoths are built. Most of us will never see this in real life, so not only have you made a video of your hobby, but also a "how-it's-done" for the uninformed like me. BRAVO!!!!!!
forgot the service vehicles and contractor containers but love how you did the stop motion on the building of the crane also i got to say holy shit that is huge
Amazing video sir! To say well done is an understatement! Making stop motion feel alive is a true art form. Add to it these wonderful models and it makes for something very special.
I was hoping you would do a stop action on that assembly. That's the One you got last week. Amazing Video. 1 Awesome ass crane. You have your Owen Const. Co. Trucks included.
Man that was great. I wish lived next door to you so I could play with your toys. Badest kid on the block. How can 28 people not like this. Yours Doug.
Hi Brandon, This is not to say your other films were terrible, but rather to say that this one is pretty special! And what a beast, even in Model form, this is. Thank you so much for all your hard work, I for one appreciate it and it seems so do many more! I have made three small stop motion films, though where they are now I have no idea, they were only 2 minutes long but took half a day to make, so thumbs up for your achievement ok! Take care. mrbluenun
God damn! That was a lot of repositioning of figures and replicas. That mammoet crane looks extremely expen$ive. I wouldn't have the patience to do that. Great job though!
Thanks, yeah I bought about 8-10 different trucks just for that reason. 2 blue ones are same paint but there's 2, not one. 2 white ones are slightly different too
I do so love your stop motion videos :) I wish you had the time to make more of them, your very talented. this is like the 4th time I've watched this one :)
Awesome Dude! Ich weiß wieviel Arbeit in so einem Film steckt, da ich selber schon einige gemacht habe!Es ist sehr Zeitaufwendig, vor allem, wenn man jede Figur noch mitbewegen muss!Respekt!!! Grüße aus Germany 😎✌
Cranedude you are a champion. I work for a construction/heavy lift company and you have done an astonishing job with your stopmotion crane assembly video!! Congratulations!! Are you in the construction industry as well?
You should have a background to use besides the wall. Other than that it's simply amazing. You should receive a reward or something for cinematography or something. Keep it up.
wow ... your videos are always amazing but having one of the original PTC models myself I assume you were hugely brave and actually took the main platform apart to make this? ballsy or what !! well done
One more question. I am an airplane/helicopter model collector. My problem is that the manufacturers seldom make more than a few types in the same scale, i.e. a Boeing 747 in 1:200 scale, and then a Boeing 727 in 1:100 scale. Side by side they are roughly the same size. Very disappointing. (in real life they are vastly different) So do you run into that problem, or are all your models in the same scale? Again, thanks for an excellent instructional demonstration.
A very skilful video. Nomination of an Academy Award would be in order. Even the delicate figures had their part to play. So impressed with your dedication to the stop go filming. How many days did it take?
Was on a job in Westlake Louisiana LACC MEG 1 project it had the PTC 200 DS for the heavy lifts almost unexplainable the sher size. It was setup for 5,000 ton lift the heaviest it did was 1,600 ton lift of a wash tower probably didn't know anything was on the hook lol it made the LR 1750 and the LTM11200 look like tiny toys
Hello. Greetings. I've long admirabndo sigueindo and your videos, really are incredible, but this has left me speechless. Besides all timelaps, the crane alone is admirable. My most sincere congratulations. PD: How long does it to take all pictures for the video? Thank you very much for sharing your videos.
You should win an award for this video.. the detail is just amazing
Thank you
I bow my head to you Sir. Your dedication to your hobby is astounding.
Everybody has this kind of potential but its wasted watching re-runs of big bang theory. Lol
This is AWESOME!!! Until 3 weeks ago I had no idea there was a 'following' of crane lovers! And, I'm 49! Impressive! The time spent to move the 'workers' and make it fluid!
Shannon Badgett lol thanks!
Sup
That looks like it took a huge amount of effort, time and patience. Good job!

This was just incredible to watch. I personally really like how you built this in a room, and the outlets acted like a gage for height comparison.
Wow! This crane is nothing short of brobdingnagian !!! Seeing one in real life must be awe inspiring ! WOWW!!! Such an absolutely incredible model and an stunning and amazing video of the assembly!! Congratulations!

A really impressive effort. I don't know which is the bigger challenge, assembling the crane or assembling the video! Great job.
Hey Brandon. Hats off !! You actually helped me vizualise the shipping sequence with this video. 87 loads is a lot of trucking😁
A video that leaves you speechless, I have never seen such a thing, for us it will take hours and days of extreme patience, really fantastic!
Not really a crane person but congratulations on your video it's absolutely brilliant.

I’m not a crane guy but damn this is amazing. Does anyone else feel it’s almost better than the real thing?
Wow! That was amazing! Thanks for the video. This is truly a work of art!
One word describes my feeling right now. Awesome! Great job Brandon. Awesome work!
the crane itself was $1636 and the ext kit was an extra $415
That is less expensive than I had figured...
Without knowing the price, I figured $3-4k...
It is absolutely beautiful.
How many photos did you take?

yeah I took every thing completely apart to do this video. wasn't too bad really, everything was screwed instead of riveted.
2024-02-05 still one of the best video. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
