I love the take on this. For someone who can't afford the big money hobby boxes and sometimes can only buy blasters, or in this case booster boxes, this is awesome!!!

I like the idea of using regular card fronts on game cards, and then using the backs for the "game" portion. Makes them more collectible rather than those games cards you see with a lame photo and a bunch of numbers on the front.
Set is so fun to open. I've never had more fun opening a retail product.
I love your take on it. We should focus on the fun side of the hobby that got us into it in the first place and this set takes us back to that and actually has some value right now!
Everyone can calm down, I had fun with the kids opening these and guess what, you can actually do something fun with the base. Also don't panic if you don't get some now, Panini is doing another round of these this summer.
Nobody cares that it's a game. Honestly, it's the flippers, like RGL who are over hyping this to convince people that these Prizm Monopoly cards are worth $10k...it's sad

Bought one box. Opened it with my son. Got a really nice Murray blue /15, but either way, it's a lot of fun. Great set.

You know what would be fun? If I could actually find any blaster\booster boxes for a non-insane markup.
When I got back into the hobby I didn't realize it wasn't about fun anymore. Suddenly all that matters is how much you sell the stuff in the box for...
This is just sports cards crossed with Pokemon. And that's GREAT! It gives a potential use for the cards beyond "just" looking at them. Plus it's priced in a way that kids (the original target of sports cards) might actually be able to afford and enjoy them. Great video, man!

This is a really great video! Some of my greatest childhood memories were playing Monopoly and the Prizm cards are so cool! Two of my favorite things. I thought this product was a hit I had no idea people were mad about it. WTF people will complain about anything! Great stuff Run Good, as always!!!!
They are actually changing theses to actual blaster boxes, do you think the first wave will have better cards than the new blasters boxes that drop on panini direct in a few days

Thank you for this. I just started collecting Khris Middleton in the last few months, and as someone who really doesn't have much money I love the potential these boxes have. My buddy and I split one just for fun and it was absolutely loaded. Boosting up retail is big for people like myself

I love this product. My wife and I love board games so this is a fun way my wife is interested in my card habit when she normally isn’t involved much!!
You're the man Run. I mean I can afford the $600 boxes and the cheaper retail but still love this set. Really fun rip, but the collation has been kinda bad. If you get boxes with nothing, that whole batch has limited parallels. If ya get a box with a couple parallels, then that whole batch in the case has 2-3 parallels. Very odd but I love this set. Best hits for me is red dice Chet and gold Ja Morant /49 so far.

I absolutely love this product & the parallels are awesome & my only problem with it is that I can't buy it anywhere besides from pandemic joe off of ebay for twice the price.......

I don’t hate nor do I like these cards. It’s just a marketing ploy from Panini. If it was only a game they wouldn’t include Numbered parallels. You were so adamant at the beginning of the video that “this is not a blaster box”that this was a booster box….but by the end of the video all of a sudden they were blasters…. Lol at 2:14 “ does this look like a blaster box to you?” 18:08 “ how cool is it to pull a gold shimmer out of a blaster?” 😅
I opened a box from Hitman gold member giveaway, got a Step Curry Pink /149, super cool. I like this set, and game in general.

The monopoly prizm is a fun product to open and all the variations look really good

I opened 30 boxes, best pull was a Luka Doncic Blue /15, but a bunch of other good stuff as well!

I love that there's valuable cards at a retail price for once. Not everyone can spend a grand a month on new hobby boxes. Give me numbered cards in retail any day.

I 100% believe the hatred from some people is coming from the fact they didn't know these were being dropped since it wasn't on the Panini website and they didn't get to get in on the ground. They see they are only $30 boxes and some of the cards coming out of these are selling for $100+, and are pissed that they missed out, and want others to feel that pain by trying to bring the value of these down with their negativity. That Sports Card Dad guy said his gripe is that the word "Monopoly" is on the front of the card. Said he wasn't going to comment on the price or quality or parallels or even the game, just that the cards for a Monopoly game have "Monopoly" on them. And here I am thinking, it's friggin sweet that these actually look like Prism cards and aren't all like the paper starter pack cards!! Jealousy and envy can bring out the worst in people.

Intro was REAL. The gatekeepers don’t want everyone in on the fun. Some people do this just for PC, some are kids, and then the rest. Let people enjoy things and that’s it. Don’t like it, don’t buy it. People are crying over this product like it’s destroying the hobby lol.

The only thing I don't like about the monopoly cards is that it has brought the scalpers back out in full force. I don't collect basketball and won't buy any of these but I'm seeing people charge 2x the price for these and clearing shelves it's disgusting

Yes, what a fun rip! Can’t think of another recent retail product that offers the chance at a HUGE hit!! And although they look a little washed out, you can pull Colorblasts and case hit parallels in these!! I’m sure they’re very tough to hit, but “you’re telling me I have a chance?”…..
Keep in mind prizm hobby and fotl offer ZERO case hits at a $700 price point!! I’ll take a $30 dart throw any day!
