Fun idea. From the Vulkan absorbing Waaagh energy. It would ne hilarious if he use the Waargh to "fix" the Golden Throne... So its Orks keeping it going.
Or using it to instill into the astronomican a means to disburse what is essentially a human "Waaah" field. Therein the beliefs of humanity get immensely magnified and catapult the emergence of Big E into true godhood.

The thing about the warp is it is supposed to specifically confound logic. So perty getting tricked into thinking he can logic the warp is very in character, and obviously he gets screwed by it.
The whole thing of the warp making you think it's your choice to try to win over chaos is their whole schtick.

@leonhardable his interpretation is pretty in line with a broad spectrum of the lore and is hardly some niche theory.
Making you think you're in charge whilst corrupting you is one of the core strategies of Chaos. Whether it be magnus, horus, lorgar, fulgrim, kor'phaeron, morty, or demon prince perty, twisting up primarchs and other important figures with an illusion of control is well established.

i was merely criticising his way of phrasing it.
"the thing is, the warp..." is ALWAYS wrong, unless you're Kevin Rountree.
He generalised Tzeentchs games for all of the warp, not only the 4 major gods but also onto gorrk and morrk, the emperor, corvus corax or the eldarii gods.

My head canon is that Perty gets tricked by his Word Bearers (from the fires of betrayal...) tutor into performing the Iron Cage ritual, which he is told will fix the soul drain Fulgrim put on him. Of course it does, at the undisclosed cost of daemonic ascension.

I'd love to see clonegrim come up again and sacrifice himself to give the real fulgrim a chance at redemption.
I’m not sure this is the correct place to put this- but if you’re looking for someone to be a sort of back-and-forth sparring partner, who knows the lore like you know the lore, is well-spoken, well-read, has all the equipment to do it: It’s me. I’m your guy. I’ve been on the cusp of starting my own channel for far too long and this could be the perfect opportunity to really elevate the level of discussion here.
I’ve seen the other co-hosts and they’re all great guys, I mean it, but you’ve got a massive knowledge-base and you’re so good at interpreting contextual subtleties and extracting meaning, that it’s very easy for you to outrun most people if you’re not super careful. I’ve lived that same sort of existence. It can be a bit lonely. But yea, I love how you aren’t afraid to speculate. Sometimes our opinions are quite similar and sometimes they aren’t. Regardless, I love playing the devils advocate and it would make for entertaining conversations.
Furthermore, I’m an American and you’re a Brit. I’m telling you, we could make some absolute magic here. How many times have you watched Warhammer content and said “these guys have chemistry, this was a mature, relevant and informed discussion about X or Y. I was genuinely entertained!?”

I wrote to Josh Reynolds on Twitter (X now I guess) and asked if he would let another author continue the clone Fulgrim story and I can't remember his exact reply, but he said okay. I would love to see Mike Brooks or Guy Haley bring him back. Guy Haley because he wrote Genefather and seems to have a good grasp of the characters and Mike Brooks because I just enjoy his writing.
Would be cool to see Wolf Lord Rho on the channel discussing the wolves place in the lore
They have not done the resurrection and return of the prodical son (Hours) this only would make sense becase of the retconed lore and finally a true challenge for ezekyle Abaddon it would make sense playing on the biblical approach.

The only reason why Magnus turned down redemption was because it meant he had to kill all his kids. Now that most of them are dust filled automatons he may be more open to it
A thought on collars of Khorne. They're supposed to be psychic wards, so would it be possible that if a blank is killed by a Khornate the soul is given to Vashtorr to make a collar of Khorne? It makes logical sense although it would need considerable retconning.
hey guys, i have a somewhat strange question to ask that is bothering for a while now but i could not find any information about it yet.
was there ever a try to get an ogryn into a servo armor or transform them into an ogryn-marine?
as far as i know, the implants and the transformation from a human to a space marine makes them more intelligent. i have read the ogryn is physically stronger than a space marine and so it may be stupid, but im curious if any of you know something or not.

I think an interesting idea would be if either Big E and Lorgar set this whole timeline up, or Big E programed the Urison, specifically so he could study and learn the true names of the Chaos Gods... after all, with the names, even the Gods could be brought to heel... and, yes, I have a Word Bearers force. XD

I think a fun switcheroo for redeemed/fallen Primarchs could be either Horus or Fulgrim getting switched up with Sanguinius or Manus. I could definitely see Manus getting mighty annoyed at his own sons for going all transhumanism and embracing the body dismorphia against what he told them, and Sanguinius could just be that the Sanguinor falls to the Rage and a Chaos God nabs them (e.g. Tzeench giving them the wrong visions). For Horus or Fulgrim, I just kinda think the Clone route would be kinda cool, if they managed to somehow bring the souls of the primarch in question along. Although that might prove a little harder with Fulgrim...

In the Book Horus Rising. It's mentioned that America was known as Merica. But its an ancient empire. It's mentioned when they are playing a form of poker in the beginning of the book.

What if a Blank spoke a daemons true name? Would they have power over the creature, or would their negative imprint in the warp prevent them from having power over them?
I miss Angron, he's arguably my favourite Primarch, and I love him so much. As a loyalist, I need him. But I just want his sons to love him again, like they did in his Primarch Novel, and then even in the short stories, and I want him to love them back.

Daemon primarchs have joined the Great Game of Chaos. If one chaos god grows too powerful then others will knock him down together. When daemon primarchs accepted the gifts of chaos they accepted the vulnerabilities as well. One may gain favor for a time but eventually if they do not lose due to vulnerabilities then his own brothers would intervene.
Im a huge fan of your analysis and would like to start reading. If I start the arks of omen, will I have a hard time? Also, The Lion is by far my favorite primarch. Should I do it?

While Vulcan was killing magnus, he said that the events of magnus breaking in to the sanctum did not play out like it is portrayed in magnus's book. It seems likely to me that zeentch tricked magnus again.
