For today's adventure, we finally went to Filcuisine!! Thank you to the Lodifam members who have suggested this to us. It was a long time coming but we finally made it. And believe us, it was worth the drive that it took for us to get there. It was hard to choose what to order because they have a big menu with so many of our favorites, including some we haven't seen at any other Filipino restaurants here in the past. We ultimately went with kare kare, Bicol express, and sisig. But we really wanted to try so many others, that there will definitely be a part 2 in the future! This quickly became one of our favorite spots to get Filipino food. So if you live in the greater Seattle area please give this place a try! You will not be disappointed. We already can't wait to go back and try the other items on their menu. All their desserts were sitting out on the counter, and the leche flan looked so tempting!! Maybe we will have to try that one next time... purely for research of course. You know, science.

Mark and Abby, I made Kare-kare with skirt steak, and then put one can of corned beef in it and it is bomb! With some shrimp paste of course on the side with hot rice... :)

Mark and Abby my favorite couple. Abby is a true Pinay...Glad you love our native dish. My wife loves Kara Kara. I’m not a fan of it even though It’s good. More into Pinakbit, Mongo beans dish and Sisig. Maganda sa Abby as always. It’s nice she maintains her weight good. Mark your good husband. God bless you both stay safe.

Mark there is NOTHING healthy about kare kare. The meat is full of fat (which makes it so good) but the greens don’t make this dish healthy one bit!
