  • A group of 20 scientists will join forces with the know-how of a group of aboriginals, to lead the Bush Blitz expedition in the heart of the inhospitable Australian Gibson desert. This desert is located south of the Great Sandy Desert and north of the Great Victoria Desert.
Its landscape, called Bush, is composed of red sand dunes covered with a surprising greenery. The fauna and flora, mostly endemic, have adapted over the millennia to this particularly arid land: it hardly ever rains in the region. The temperatures oscillate between 32 and 50° in summer.
The objective of these scientists is to learn and understand the ancient techniques used by aboriginals to survive in this hostile nature. Accompanied by their guides, they will capture and taste night moth larvae, they will track, discover and inventory new animal species.
