Update 40 apparently increased the max nodes so that explains why it felt like the track laying progress was taking forever... and I guess also shows how much shorter this map is compared to long straight line nodes lol.

Since there’s a lot of comments on this: the direction of the spinning glaives do not matter. They're essentially visual and it's treated as an aura attack :)

5:50 fun fact: the glaive lord's peirce isn't infinite anymore, and it's actually surprisingly far from infinite now. It used to have 1000 pierce like ray of doom, but in an update that peirce was brought all the way down to 80 in favor of giving it more ceramic damage.
Glaive Lord fell off so hard (it was never that high up to begin with)

@@vwlz8637 yeah pretty much, lol. The pierce was only relevant on ceramics anyway, so the extra damage more than made up for it. But yeah, now the main glaive actually has more pierce than the aura at 100, which is funny to think about
I think a perfect map for sentries would be interesting with limiting tower space everywhere except one area (for dps)

I think you meant integer underflow, in an overflow the value is typically equal or close to zero and here it was large. But I don't even think it was that actually, I think it got confused when changing to the village. It must calculate dps finding a difference between the pops count after a second has passed, and when ISAB selected the village it subtracted the pops count of the glaive lord from the one of the village, hence the -13M mirroring the 13M damage of the tower.

Underflow: integer goes below its minimum
The behavior depends on signed-ness. An overflow will become a large negative value if the number is signed, or 0 if the number is unsigned.
That said, the number in the video doesn't line up with either 32 or 64 bit integer limits, so it's neither an overflow nor an underflow.
Do ultrajugg for the next perfect map. The difference compared to on normal maps is crazy. Lots of obstacles and it would shred hugely.

Since you already have this circular map, it should be easy to adapt it to Tack Shooter, shouldn't it? That would be another fun one to test.
I was thinking the same thing. All 3 paths would be amazing to test.
A single circle is actually not optimal for Tack Shooter (except maybe Ring of Fire?)
What you'd want is probably actually several concentric circles to actually make use of the tacks' pierce, though I have no idea how practical that'd be in the map editor.
Another use for this map could be for Spirit of the Forest, dropping the most powerful vines to the ground.
if I recall correctly (I haven't actually used the map editor before, but I saw this on someone else's video....... I think) the crossed out Dart zone is a line of sight blocker, but the crossed out Monkey zone not only restricts placement of monkeys, but also deletes projectiles.

I want a map where ray of doom might use more than a tenth of its pierce
I always felt like glaive lord was powerful but not really in the right way. It definitely needs some new abilities on its orbit, like some sort of debuff on Bloons. Such as chance to knockback or crit
Seems like map editor is getting better and better. Great to see NinjaKiwi caring so much!
If you want support to not attack you can enable the tower cheats mod and edit their range/ damage so they don’t take any pops
I personally think that perks spike would a be a cool idea for map. you make a map as long as possible, but don't let the bloons touch the spike pile until the end.
End every round would last 30 minutes 😢😢
You should try doing this with Ultra Juggernaut (aka Bug Juggs)
We could do a trick shot style map with it aswell a zigzaged hallway
Also a tip is just put Glaive Lord on close. It'll take less micro to apply dot.

That reminds me of "Sauda's Least Cash 1TC", a map that meets all the requirements for Sauda to be able to win without purchasing any levels
Now do it with the beast handler but with the longest possible map length, i wanna see bloons get picked up and drop on the first node of the track.
Can you make a perfect map for the blooncineration or pop n awe. Wanna see if the defortify and stuff really make that much of a difference.

I think would be cool the one you made for crossbow master but for Churchill and Gwendolyn, this one for inferno ring or one with smaller circles for tack zone.

This map could be reused for the tack shooter, Andre you put water inside the circle then it would be amazing for the energizer

Now the thing we all are probably thinking we need challenge editor for the maps people make with map editor
I think there’s a bunch of potentially fun “create a map for X” challenges:
- UJugg
- Biggest One
- Geraldo
- Bomber Ace Spam
- Cluster-Bomb/Recursive Spam
- WoF Spam
- Razor Rotors Spam
There’s also Deflation-like Challenges, where you can say “design a map that would be best if I had 10k.” There’s also potentially creating custom maps to do unexplored or otherwise impossible 2TCs/2MPs.

Would permabrew maybe be better to go for before Call to Arms/Homeland? I know it's a weaker buff, but being up 100% of the time might be enough to offset that
this has nothing to do with the video but me and a friend are playing freeplay at like 2 in the morning and i placed a monkey buccaneer paragon and realized it had no pants, then we thought about every tower that did have pants. so you should totally do a chimps run with monkeys that wear pants only. (quick edit: if you can see the legs it's disqualified. but stuff like the boomerang are fine because it's technically wearing pants *although through a suit* )

idk if anyone has said this or if it even true but the sudden oval thing might be because the map editor is perfectly top down and the game play map is slightly tilted which might be the cause.
i think this map could unironically work for a 5-2-0 tack shooter

wouldn't the map be more optimal if the bloons were rotating the other direction, so the glaives are going against the flow of the bloons theoretically hitting them more frequently? I could be wrong though.
It's an area of effect damage
I don’t think that the glaives actually have hitboxes, I believe it’s just a circle of damage similar to a 4xx sub

A perfect map for the Ultrajuggernaut would make great content. It also has the added benefit of also being a perfect map for the Plasma Master. Much more interesting than another circle map.
I kinda wanna see how something like tack would do, death zone, or ring of fire, i think could make it FAR, ontop of that, you could just use the same exact map

It’s on chimps mode so no monkey knowledge
thats only with ultravision (002), not super or epic range

It did work like that in BTD 5, but it has never been that way in BTD 6 as far as I am aware. The spinning glaives are not a projectile. It just functions like the ring of fire, dealing damage to bloons in the area at a constant rate.
It's really a shame that Glaive Lord has the issues it does. I don't think it's a bad tower in that it can't handle it's niche, but it falls into a really awkward spot where unlike, say, Crossbow Master, it's just expensive enough that it doesn't really fit the description of a stepping stone tower, but it is just weak enough that it outside of specifically dealing with large groups of ceramics it does not merit it's cost. And the problem with being good at popping grouped ceramics is that there are other towers which can do that and more for higher but justified costs, or even towers that just do that incidentally on their way to another strength of theirs.
Glaive lord either needs some kind of truly powerful, scaling effect (maybe the ability to 'rip' lower tiers of MOAB's and permanently slow them or weaken them) or it needs a hefty reduction in it's price to make it work as a stepping stone tower like most of the rest of the primaries.
I love the turtle ZOMG skin. I hope they make more skins that do more than just recolor them, and actually make them look unique

Changes to the map/tower to optimize efficiency:
The map is counterclockwise, so you should set the throwing to left-handed. Pops more bloons and pops them faster when it's not upgraded to 3-0-0.
Non-M.O.A.B.s are still bloons, so the track should be shorter.

The glaive lord is, in my opinion, underrated. I like to use him in my causal games sometimes. He’s special in his own ways :)

A Druid path would be fun to watch.
My monke brother in the Sun God's light, the Glaives upgrade increases the boomerang's projectile speed.
What would be nice if they gave Glaive Lord a slider above the targeting to adjust the glaive range a bit, maybe as a monkey knowledge.
But I guess if the glaives are just an aura, that would be a straight up buff, since the aura affects everything within it, even if the glaives dont actually touch it.

I think an interesting one to do in the future would be blooncineration. Very satisfying

How about Avatar of Wrath map?
As in put it in one corner and set to close, while the path being a zigzag shaped like a triangle just so the spread covers the entire lane. Not necessarily to test if AoW is viable, I just want to have the satisfaction of seeing millions of projectiles on screen from one tower alone.
do one for the top path engi, a map which forces good utilisation of the sentry explosions could be very interesting.

You could recycle some maps. For instance, a dartling would do great on the crossbows map, and inferno ring would need something like glaive lord.
But that's not fun, so do preemptive strike :)
To edit feels like a power that could do well, but I never see it used.
Also for glaive lord,maybe the last bend close enough to him for cerams to be hit by the ring would have helped.
Might as well try this map with tack shooters too

Also no Glaive Dominus? Are you gonna do separate videos for the paragons? Because both this and dart would have probably made it further than the logs test. I think that would be neat to see!

Basically the two optimal path shapes are straight line and circle.
I was hoping he would buy the paragon so the spinning glaives would perfectly hit the Track and then I'd be satisfied

Me watching him make the entire map but having the bloons not move against the grain:
dont quote me on this, but im pretty sure it doesnt matter, i think it just acts as a circular hitbox that constantly triggers, and the rotating glaives are just an animation to make it look nice.

Glaive lord buff idea: Glaive lord's radial orbitals increase/decrease their range so that they attack the Glaive Lord's primary target.
Also: Glaive Lord orbital damage increased by 2 vs Fortified Bloons.
This would be insane with Druid of the forest
G lord is a ok upgrade because is a like corner dependent upgrade.
Perhaps the OG paragon could use a map dedicated to him
You had enough for moab glue tho, embrittlement woulda helped too
