Was a cracking and challenging set of 4 races … the videos make it look flat and smooth , it ain’t ! Need the Western Australian government to get behind these events , big income generators to these small coastal communities!
Great event. The water was crazy this year. You can’t see it in the video but the chop was coming from all directions at once and it was blowing. It went up another 5-8 knots and was close to 30 by the third race. It was survival mode but plenty of fun. :)
You’d probably struggle for pace on a foil there mate. The conditions can be pretty hectic and you have to watch out for octopus pots that are in places all over the course.
@@mintoxace5571 Wouldn't want to hurt any octopus. The only time I'm on fin these days is if the water isn't deep enough. I find dealing with chop and gusts easier on a foil now.
Luv these races where everybody is a winner. Cool.
I’m definitely doing it next year! This place looks amazing. Great video
Nice! Greetings from -15C Wisconsin, USA!
Great edit.
Awesome! Would love to sail in Australia one day. Greetings from snow covered Estonia.
Epic event and vid! Will be back in 26.

Whenever I see this, there is one question ion my mind: Any shark encounters?
We were going to fast for fkn sharks mate !
@@Jonesyutube That is until the jibe ;)
Oh, and could I join with a 4.0 on a foil or is it fin only?
