  • There's nothing better than Cross Country racing ~ No sighting lap, a dead engine start with 30 or so peeps in mixed class racing for no less than an hour. The Burrow's Ranch course was sick! ~ mixed terrain that included Grassy fields, tight canyons, up hills, downs hills, a dead cow (no joke) ~ you get the picture. I only captured the first bit of the hour long race as the axle nut and chain tensioner rattled loose off "Lil Buckaroo" making it unrideable, pulling off about ten minutes.. Needless to say i was pissed to miss out on the whole shebang... There's more to the story but that'll require a cold drink to fill you in.. word gt

Different change of pace for sure from Midwest and a Eastern AHRMA races. I can only imagine how fast the PV guys were going.

Burrows Ranch is incredible- the course is just about 8 miles long with a combination of speed and technicality. It’s not to be missed

With the gearing that my bike was set up with I’d suggest my top speed was around 70mph - I can’t be sure as my bike doesn’t run a Speedo! Come on out- it sure is a lot of fun regardless of speed.. Noting that there were only a couple sections where you’d get into 4th.. I run mostly in 2nd/3rd
