Dialogue is edited and revised, and written to be a reflection of the character. It is written to get a certain punchline or point across. They are not just talking to their characters, they are talking to an audience. It is written with the audience in mind. It is not written to reflect actual dialogue between people. Think about how often people within the show are not made to laugh despite someone saying or doing something thing funny.
