My fishing buddy put me on to your Chanel. I believe he said that he met you at B&B . We both live near Caesar creek lake. Catch you on the lake someday.
Thank you I appreciate both of you watching. May see you out there one day.
you are a class act fisherman and a fine gentleman would be a hoot to go fishing with you!
I appreciate that. Maybe one day I can get more time to set up some fish along trips or something. Thank you Mark
@@FishYanker and thank you for responding! it's refreshing! but it's you and it's not surprising
Yes sir thank you 😄
Yank baby yank!!!!! Let’s goooo baby!!!! Teheeeee!!!!
😂 yes sir 💯%
checkin in from New Orleans aka the Big Easy my Brudda Fish 🐟 Yanker
Yes sir, I appreciate you buddy. keep on Yanking 🎣 😁
I figured out why you move location so frequently. It’s because you catch all the fish at every place you go. 👍
Can you show us your tape measure on the side of your boat? We can see the 10 and we can see the 15 but most of the fish you hold up there look smaller than the 10. It’s got to be the way the angle of the camera is showing us the tape measure. You are a good friend to catch fish for your buddy. Thanks.
I don't think I can catch them all 😂 and Yes sir I have to lean to the right because the tape measure is not straight across from me, it's always to the right of me a little bit while I'm measuring.. I will work on a different measuring system. Thanks for pointing that out
Ain’t no gloomy day. That’s a gorgeous day. Don’t need sunscreen or a Carhartt. Slabs are biting and the scenery couldn’t be better. I like gloomy days. Get some nitrile gloves and some disposable handwarmers. Put the handwarmers on the palm of your hand inside your gloves . Have a cotton towel to keep them dry. And a wool hat. All of this can be stored on the boat and used when needed. You can do everything with these glove as if you were bare handed.
You do have a good point. I will check the gloves out, sounds like a good plan I got some hand warmers and a battery operated vest. Appreciate the tips Patrick. thank you
@@FishYankerI use the wool fingerless gloves from Fish Monkey and they are only $25 and are awesome and I have the Tidewe heated vest and of course toe warmers and Super Hand Warmers and I am very comfortable…😊😊😊
I’m convinced this is your small private lake stocked with only crappie 😂
And a few bass lol
I wish I owned this fishing spot. I don't even own the land on living on 😂 not quite paid off yet. I sure would love to have a lake house, that would be nice. 😁
@@FishYankerman it looks like you pretty much have it all to yourself when you fish there. Is there much structure in there that you’re pulling your jigs over or is it mostly flat and open water?
Another great video btw. Enjoy seeing someone catch some slabs. I’ve still been having trouble finding them consistently but the bass seem to be jumping in my boat 😂
Yes sir I try to fish on weekdays and did have the lake mostly to myself but duck season has kicked in full force and there's is going to be a lot of boats. I'll still try to pick the least amount of population lake if I can. It's just easier and peaceful. But the duck hunters love these spots. I get it it's a lot of fun but I like it a little bit more quieter so I wait until they're done. 😆 Most of them hunt in the mornings that gives me a little time in the afternoons. Works for me. 😊
Nice vids. I just sub to your channel. Your description say you fish Tupelo swamps. Where are you from?
Thank you. fishing cache River Lakes here in Arkansas.
Do you have a separate video tutorial for setting up your Bobber jig set-up?
I have several new videos where I explained how to rig and how to jig with a jig and bobber. You can use crappie bites if you're not able to get minnows. they have a great scent that the crappie love. But yeah I explained a lot of details in most of my newer videos.
Could you create a video showcasing your fishing poles, reels, bobbers, and fishing lines? Please include links to all of the products as well. Thank you!
Yes, I'll have to get that all set up. that's a great idea thank you.
SUBSCRIBED! great content. thanks you tube and yanker. explane the difference in a white versis a blk crappy
That's actually a pretty good idea. I have videos with me explaining exactly that. I need the cut that out and share it as a dedicated video or short. Thank you and I appreciate your subscribing.
diostebendiga amigo ktipo decaña usas iknumerodelinia cuantos crapis tepuedes yebar elimite grasias sigesdelante buenbideo
Thank you. We are allowed 30 crappy per day. God bless you to my Friend.
Do you fish lake Conway? I'm considering fishing there around 1st of December. Any tips
Follow the shad would be my best tip. if you can get lucky enough to find some nice tops in the same area with the bait fish around. If the water temps get pretty cold you might want to head to that Southwest to Northwest parts of the lake where the sun shines on the water first.
You do know they have drained Lake Conway……..
Is that the lake they've been working on? I seen on the news where they had to use helicopters to drop gravel or something in a lake.
@@FishYanker yes they are working in Lake Conway. Putting gravel down for bream beds.
@robdixon2259 nice 👍 when is their projection for completion.?
Another great trip on the water with you Yanker. Tell me something, how far into the Winter do you Crappie fish?
Thank you. I keep fishing all the way through the winter and spring. I love it.
@@FishYanker When I "first" learned about Crappie, a older man told me. That these fish here are cold water Crappie. And as long as this water doesn't freeze over, they are going to eat.
Yes sir that is true. I have a big reservoir. I like to fish when it gets super cold January, February, March where the shad get trapped in a creek by the fish and the crappie feed on them all winter long. it's very shallow spot on one end. the water will have ice on top water temps in the 30s and you can still catch crappie. it's a lot slower fishing but they're there. That older gentleman, well he is 100% correct and the main reason is they still got to eat. 😁
@FishYanker 👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾 Thanks for the information.
@murdocparrish7305 Yes Sir 😀 👍 👊 bump
What state you fishing ?
Arkansas
Not sure where you are. In upper Wisconsin with the water temps below 40 deg, these methods don't work.
Arkansas. Well they sure work here all winter even in cold shallow water with temps in the high 30s. You just have to slow things down slower than normal. The fish have to eat.
Bought an ACC it stays at the house. Way to stiff for casting light jigs. You have to have an ultra light or light powered rod to cast light jigs from the bank. You need flex. ACC is way to stiff. ACC broom stick. Might be good for vertical jigging maybe. Bought a 7ft Shakespeare micro. Light powered rod. Way better at casting light jigs. Save your money gentlemen.
You must not have tried the 6'2 dock shooter cuz it casts great. I have to agree to with you though on the acc 7 ft crappie sticks they're way too flimsy for casting. You cannot go wrong with the Shakespeare micro series though for the price. Thanks Russ
@@FishYanker Your right, about Shakespeare Micro Series. Got an ultra light 7ft on the way. The flat rate shipping fee of 20 dollars is what drives the price way too high for the ACC. ACC is a medium powered rod. Just to stiff for crappie, being they have paper mouths. Even with your drag on your reel turned way down.
I'm not 100% sure but I think my 6-2 dock shooter was about $40 cheaper than the acc 7-ft jig Pole. So it was a lot better on price.
@@FishYankerI use only ACC CRAPPIE STIX and I have dang near every model that they sell and have to use the right rod for the technique that you are trying to do and I will never use anything else because they are absolutely awesome!! I cast small jigs like it ain’t nothing but now I use 10lb Sniping Braid or 6lb Viscous Hi Vis line so it’s all in ones preferences!!! Thanks Yanker for all you do for us!! 😊😊😊
Yes sir. I am trying to help as much as I can.
