This video its very interesting because ib the your garage you have a special place to worked with VW air cooled engines "hole in the floor," I'm working during feel years in VW other times in the engineering at VW Brazil but in the 1996 I was leaving and come back to work for Ford Brazil in the power train engine calibration!!! This Karman Guia is my favorite in to VW air cooled engines coup , convertible, beetle, TL , Brasília, Kombi or type 2 !!! However all vehicles are very interesting and popular around the world!!! The Karma Guia was made for Volkswagen here in Brazil this component !!! After the car completely assembly, and put on it. Congratulations for your job ! Outstanding ! Take care with all details, panel, pieces damaged for rust, rebuild the engine, check the transmission, rear and front suspension completely repaired, electrical wire harness as new one !!! Clusters, seats. Everything !!!! Fantastic !!!! Great job !!! Thank you for showing !!!

My son and I are working on our 69 Ghia that we saved from the car crusher! I was forced to retire after 40 years of building swimming pools. I need something to keep me busy!
I'm trying to find one for myself to restore but boy do they want a lot of money for a piece of rust lol. Did you modify the 1600 engine for better performance. Very good video
