20:40 Aaron Delano; the man on the painting's last name DELANO could be translated into English From The ANu5. Great name for a PROCTOLOGIST and no one else.
I wonder what an Apple 1 Computer unopened in it's original box will fetch. My Aunt bought 10,000 shares when the company first IPO'ed. The company gave her two Apple 1 computers. She put one in storage, and used one. When she died in the 90's the box containing the computer was given to a church. At her death, she owned 95 Million dollars worth of Apple.
You have a very nice voice--cultured and melodious. I have to make some corrections in your narrative. It isn't "Jeff Kennedy" It's John F. Kennedy. "Boston Celtics" isn't pronounced with a hard K" like the people of that name. The basketball team is pronounced "Seltics," Also, "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" isn't pronounced "Blondees" The "e" in Blonde is silent. Sorry to point these things out but just want to suggest you research how words are pronounced in American English vs British English. There are some other mispronunciations--one is a French word--but I won't mention them specifically because I've unloaded on you enough!
In some ways the financial value doesn't matter. Items like the POW uniform, the skateboard, JFK briefcase, that beautiful woven basket, the club, and the items from the interment camp need to be a museum (as with that Painting) so future generations can see the social history. If the owners of such items ever decide to sell them rather than pass them on to friends and family, I hope they give musea* first option to buy. *The correct plural of "museum" is "musea" as it takes the Gerundive form. In particular I loved the cane and the men's Rolex.
Another AI content 'creator'- this is the latest trend in new channels on TH-cam, as it is the quickest way to make content without real creativity or authorial voice. By looking to see what's popular or trending on the algorithm, they take others work, add an AI voice, and repackage it slightly. It takes minimal effort to clip videos and add sound, and with a quick bit of editing, they have content for a channel. There is no creativity here, or real sense of content creation with these kinds of channels that are popping up in the 'ulti' thousands.
hey, thanks for your response. you are partly right. Still, I have to put a lot of time into briefly highlighting these items with additional images. I really enjoy doing it and I love antiques myself. I'm currently recording my voice myself, I think it will sound much better. but I still have to train a bit@@whyitmatterstome
I'm going to try to record the next few videos myself, this will improve the pronunciation of everything! I'm still practicing a bit. Thanks for your feedback! What did you think of the items?
I wonder about some of these items that are 150 to 250 years old and valued at a few thousand dollars but were also described as "bought by wealthy families"......maybe actually cheaper now than then!!! Still awesome though from whichever means you acquired it....especially if it was 5 bucks at a garage sale!!!!!!
The AI generated narration needs tweaking. Pronunciations of many of the words are not accurate. Like paper, Mâché, Viola, even JFK was pronounced funny, and there were several others that I don’t remember at this point. I realize they’re foreign words for the most part but it’s frustrating for the listener.
The POW picture returning to his family was actually staged, he was really depressed upon returning and wife divorcing him. This was just for the media but the reality is heartbreaking.
The picture wasn’t staged. Although his wife was divorcing him, his children were nevertheless overjoyed to see him - the young lady running to him was his 15 year old daughter. What utter nonsense.
Who is the scary lady on this story photo? Looks like the donald trump rage in the female version sandwiched inbetween two crazed trump stories...eeekkk.

I wish this was narrated by a human, the automated narration is distracting
we are working on it! Thanks for feedback
Yep, me too.
The Boston Celtics pronunciation really killed it.
@@gregthomas2904 the hard K, yes

Who is Jeff Kennedy?!?!😂
Exactly! Horrible narration. No thumbs up for this one. 7 mins in & can't watch anymore.
@@carolcamp4828 Horrendous AI pictures as well.

Wow, what a cool story! Would be a nice item for the antique roadshow! And it was certainly a nice gift for the church
A quick google says it would be worth around $63k.
@@Antique_TreasureHunt honestly it was wasted on the church. most of these churches these days are all about themselves and not helping anyone...
@@hellshade2I concur ❤
Who's Jeff Kennedy?
Right?! I was pmsl.
Leather is embossed, not engraved.
Thanks for your sharp eye, that's my honest mistake ☺️

Thank you for your response, this is due to the AI voice over. Watch our latest videos. You'll like these better
The skateboard is pronounced, Bane
@@ThePapasmurf1946 I thought he said 'paper mash'. You can tell it's a computer or AI or something. Def NOT a real voice.
Get rid of the automated voice
I'm working on it, thank you
Concerning the picture of a Delano, FDR's family were descended from the fishing industry and have french origins.
who's jeff kennedy?

Whew! No one seems to have noticed the word dollars missing from 'biggest multi-million find.' Cheers....
I would have enjoyed this video much more if that dreadful music wasnt playing in back ground
Thanks for your comment!
Hi creator, the briefcase belonged to John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the US.
Thanks for the feedback, what do you think of the rest of the video? Which item did you like?
Some of the pronunciations of the robo voice are hilarious and awkward.

I don't think "Jeff" is an acceptable nickname for "John". The "F" stands for "Fitzgerald"...his middle name...
Thank you for your feedback, you are absolutely right! I'll name it differently next time! Thank you;)
Did the J.F. Initials get run together?
How do you get "Bathnee" out of "Bane"??
