Deb you are the best coach! You explain things in such a clear, useable and passionate way. Thank you. I am sitting in my ski lodge in Japan studying your lessons up before hitting slopes again tomorrow! Please keep up good work, of all the online coaches you are the best. Cheers.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I practiced whirly birds and backward skiing today. Your videos have helped me tremendously. My "wide base of support" is narrowing---finally! LOL--I finally look like I know what I'm doing. (at 61 I've been skiing only 14 years)
Glad to see that you are not a "one trick pony" . Hop turns , ski one one ski, skating , and all the rest of your fun and safe drills.... I hope your viewers get to look at ALL your videos and go to ski school to learn more. Keep up the good work. "Olle" (Cert 1956, retired)
Love the foot to foot teaching. Recent lessons I got were "keep your legs like John Wayne with more equal pressure, stay upright". Didn't work for me at all
i was thinking very good for the young skiers to learn to turn so well but not just to "not go off a cliff" as Deb warns but mainly to avoid crashing into those tall buildings i can see they have on the bottom of trails there at Steamboat Springs ...
I got smashed into by a snowboarder last week which sent me flying backwards. I was able to spin 180 degrees and resume skiing and not miss a beat. It was a steep icy slope and would've likely ended badly for me if I wasn't comfortable skiing backwards.

skiing backwards is just another way to challenge skills and to challenge ones understanding of skiing movements.
Ekin Ilter plus it’s FUN and COOL to be able to ski backwards. Sometimes when we just do something fun we ... learn.😎
