B.Sc. CGPA matters in your Masters admission, not in your PhD. Work hard in your masters and make up your mind for research. You will definitely get a good institute for a PhD . Hope it helps. Best of luck 🙂
bhaiya how much can we earn after doing msc physics from iit.. and also i am interested in reserach and becoming scientist.. please guide me on that.. can we get on a call or chat please it would be very helpfull
Hi! Sorry for the late reply, To become a scientist in India you have two options, either you can go for a doctoral degree in good research institutes or give exams for scientific officers in barc, drdo etc. Pay scale for Scientific officers is almost 60k -70k but in PhD in India you will get 37k for starting two years after it 42k. If you are considering a PhD outside the stipend is relatively good. I hope now your doubt is clear. If I get time I will make a video on it. Thanks! 😊
@@domination5785 after doing PhD you can apply for Postdocs, and assistant professorship, you can also apply for scientific officers in Research and development institutes. You can go to Industry depending on your interest and your PhD. But generally people choose academia and dedicate their lives for further research! 🙂
@@Physics20byabhinav I want to devote my life for research too.. I can get to teaching too for research.. but how much salary can I expect in this field .. after msc and after phd starting
@@domination5785 you can expect good salary but it varies, minimum is 70k in postdoc(India) ... in foreign countries 1.5lakh (minimum) per month. After getting job minuim 70-80k, maximum goes upto 2lakh. These are starting salaries.
sir, I have interest in research. i have gate score. should I apply for mtech optics and go abroad for PhD later or just do for PhD in India and then post doc abroad. please answer thank you...
Hi! Thanks for your question. The answer to this question is not straight forward, it totally depends on you. For PhD first you should have a clear idea of your interest. In which field you want to do research. Then you can make some options and choose the one which will suit you. I am making a video, kindly watch it, inwhich I will share my personal experience. I hope it will help you. Best of luck for your future endeavours! 🙂
@@Physics20byabhinav Thanks for replying Sir. I'm interested in optics/ photonics etc. I don't have enough research experience to apply for PhD abroad yet. Hence I thought to complete mtech in my interested field and later go for PhD abroad. Or should I just do PhD here just as is?

Yes! you can complete your Mtech and then go abroad.
Sir why mtech, not phd
It totally depends on you. Mtech gives you a way for industry and job opportunities early in your career and also gives a research flavour.
