OMG me too! What's really sad is people will actually spend their wildcards building this garbage, and end up as the poster said below (I built this and went 0-7 ladder). Should be a some disclaimer to vids like this. People MUST learn that "fancy titles and wording" doesn't make something good. These posers are making money off these videos
The third game, just in case you use this deck in the future: You could have reanimated the Kaya and then plussed then you could have gotten the portal using the emergence and you would have been left with 3 hp or 1 after the sheoldred
I watched the video where he pulled this off on you and you said something to the effect "man what a great idea, I gotta try that" and man what a deck you've made with his/that iteration.
This is a ladder viable fun deck nice work. I didn't have enough wild cards for thr tip end cards like Jin, so I subbed in an Emperor and a toxril. Very fun
I don't have Jin-Gitaxias. Or Portal. Or Atraxa. But I can confirm, this basic structure is really strong. Obviously I'm using different high end (Tyrannus Rex on turn 3 is still very strong). Biggest problem is hitting proper mana. I'm not going to craft all the pain lands that this deck needs, so sometimes I get mana screwed. But when I'm actually allowed to play the game, it's insanely strong.
Great that you could do this, and congrats to the original builder too. I’m really not looking forward to running into this everywhere going forward… 😅

This is CRAZY. Just pulled off something similar against mono red using the new Soulcoil Serpent creature card. Dropped Titan of Industry on Turn 4. Opp scooped right then and there lol.
This looks stupidly fun. Now I'm going to have to choose between playing this and the Fight Rigging deck I've been playing. There is a critical mass of good 3 and 4 mana 6/6 creatures now after the new 6/6 green dino which means Fight Riggings into Etali, Atraxia, Breach, etc so another deck just dropping stupid huge spells at the same point in the game. I have to try this though, how could I not play a card with the word "Squirming" in the title?
Probably not. Maybe in standard, but how reliably you can actually fill the graveyard once people consider SE in their deckbuilding is yet to be seen. There are much more powerful reanimation effects in other formats.
Sorry man but that loss against David was your fault. You should have reanimated Atração instead of playing the founding. It flies and has lifelink, and would have kept the Raffine back. You were forced to take too much damage because of it. Cool deck though.
It's not fun to me it is something I never liked with MTG and that is abusing the graveyard and my biggest peeve is how powerful Planeswalkers are and the ability to play several. IMO the grave should be reserved only for creatures that died from the board all else should be exiled and gone forever without anymore exile silliness.The game became such a power creep game that both grave and exile are abused more so than just playing the hand to board.
The shittiest deck I have tried in a few years, between the absolute horrid algorithm of MTG Arena(starting with two Jin on hand and immidietly drawing a third)and the one trick pony theme of the deck with no way to defend ones self... ughh. terrible One never gets a single creature in the graveyard to reanimate, just a bunch of redundant cards, same thing with the card in hand that literally do nothing and no way at all to protect my game. This garbage deck gets an F minus in my book... Play a Griselbrand deck instead, just using unburial rights etc, much more effective and fun!
This deck is really fun when it works but it's pretty inconsistent to win against the meta. It's more like a fun side deck that is horribly frustrating at times than it is a main deck for the ladder. Definitely regret spending money to craft this. The shuffler in this game is so fucking broken. The game where on turn 4 where I reanimated a Ghalta and put an Atraxa and Jin-Gitaxis from my hand was pretty satisfying though. Watching braindead red concede to that feels great.

This is why I love the vids Swayze. I've been working on a reanimator deck and this has great ideas I hadn't really considered.

Yeah there is definitely holes in it. Lack of removal, susceptible to removal and counters etc.

How does it hold up against Dinosaurs or MonoRed? The pain lands are gonna be a problem there

Nice. Ive been scamming in toxril, ghalta, portal, or atraxa by turn 4. This is even faster.
