This is an extremely Sinophobic title. Another comment claims you're trying to clickbait with a negative title, but you're much more neutral with other language videos. This sounds like racism. There are many ethnic Chinese people in the US, Canada, Australia, and other countries, and suffer from everyday racism because of all-out hatred against China. We identify as Americans and Westerners, too. I'd advise you to change the title to something more neutral, like the other languages' titles.
I agree that it is a lack of exposure that makes Chinese sound 'harsh', having been learning the language for almost 15 years, it's actually a beautiful language. It's just a shame that the beauty of the language can't be heard right away.
You're right, same with German, if you don't understand what they're saying it might sound aggressive, but when you're starting to understand the language it turns out to be good :)
The requirements of TH-cam algorithms (sp?) require the presenters to capture the attention of many people in order to get viewers... it does not mean that the presenter truly believes that, "...Chinese sounds so awful". As an American English speaker, I had a Mandarin class in college because of a popular television show (Firefly). The language captured my attention, and I wanted to know what the actors were saying. This is similar (but not the same) as the presenter's intent to attract viewers with the title. Hope that helps! 🙂
Canto sounds horrible...but thats a bias as most canto speakers in my country speaks loud, are very unclean even if they have money and have no manners at all...even if wealthy. So people around here dont respect them at all...cause they are usually also arrogant
Let me know what you would like to see in another video!

@@ShaneChristensen-yg4yg in other words, clickbait
Well, the video does explain why Chinese could sound awful to other people, like native English speakers :)
