I definitely agree. Top 10… I don’t know about that but definitely higher than 23. They’ve been playing exceptional, and if they keep playing like this then they can definitely be a top 10 team😊
@@djbenje4019 coming back to this comment after SMU beat Pitt in 5, and now imma apologize. They should 100% be a top 10 team now. They’ve proved themselves. They are coming from nowhere, and are so underrated
@@DHN669 Holy crap! I just found that out from you, that SMU beat Pitt in 5... (speaking of which, #17 TCU also beat #23 BYU in 5, but I believe TCU had 3 starters still recovering from 'illness'). But damn. Of all the teams in the league, SMU handed Pitt it's first loss -- that tells u somethiing BIG, just like SMU sweeping Nebraska was seriously eye-opening. After they did that, I knew they had 'something' special going on there. I think that the majority of SMU's starters are... how can I describe... more 'seasoned', quick, crafty, athletic, high vball IQ types. Like when I played back in HS and college, every once in a while I came across some Brazillian (S. American) or Asian team, and they weren't the tallest of players, but they run rings around you and beat u in so many different ways. Unlike Nebraska, SMU girls are NOT about the glitz, the glamour, the fame, the image, the social media pics and vids, the EGOs. They just take their sport seriously, no distractions. But, WOW.
@@djbenje4019 yes. I totally agree. They are CRAZY GOOD this year. And watching the press conference after the game, I love the way the SMU coach talks. So sweet but competitive. SMU should be good, because the north Texas/Dallas area of Texas has some really good clubs. TAV, Excel, Dallas Skyline: all top clubs in the nation. SMU is creeping up and becoming a great vball program, out of nothing from last year. Next year they will have a dripping springs hs player Christa Wilburn, and she is PHENOMENAL. I had to play against her and she is stellar. As a Texas native and Texas fan, I’m so excited for SMU, TCU and Texas this season. So excited for Parra, so excited for my team the longhorns, so excited for SMU and to see what they can do this season.
I love seeing SMU shine this season 🤩
SMU is both under-rated and under-ranked. Should be in the top 10, especially cuz they swept Nebraska.
