bloody love the 80s feel of it. it's so unassuming and almost lulling into a sense of security. it's music that represents the message perfectly. it makes you so comfortable with the invitation. oh how easily conditioned we are to such!! They communicate things I have held so deeply stored in my psyche that I only recognise when they sign it and for this I am overawed by them.

MUSE is my favorite band of all time. I'm a 33 year old American from Utah. I discovered them back in 2005ish. Been to 4 concerts here in Utah and they by far put on the best shows I've ever seen.

This is sooooo about what's going on in the world right now. Even if they'd say it's not, I wouldn't believe them 🤣

This gave me a bit of a Depeche Mode feel from the early 80s. Cool video. Loved the song 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

FYI the actual song is a little longer, this music video cut it 30 seconds or so

Interested to see what you have to say about it! I liked it myself. Didn't think it was as good as won't stand down but it's very good lyrically and has a great bassline.

I think you're right on the more personal matter of the song. Using a word like "clique" in a context like this, means it could be simple bullying on the playground or somewhere else in your personal life. We are "pack animals" after all

  • @MrGeewiz1

Wont stand down is about bullying so maybe compliance is as well

Nice one, bike your looking for too much specific here ^^
Muse are one of these artist ho don’t rely on Métaphore nor do they run on a specific agenda. *They want the listener to make and use each song as their own, for their interest and inspiration, whatever it is* .
the inspiration is ours, they don't ant us to see *somethipng* , they want to *allow to see things*
Like Tolkien (Lord of the Rings author) , * They do prefer applicability*
In other words , of course their love, relationship and political songs are influenced by personal experiences and current opinions / context,
but they are aiming at broader : you, your opinions and sensitivity.
*Their songs are based on archetypes and reliability, so that you can extend any theme to any personal or historical or current you feel the need to fit them to*
Enjoying your channels very lately ;) never too late

Great reaction as always! I would love it if you reacted to Gods menu by stray kids. It is a kpop song that I think you would really enjoy and I would just really love to see a reaction to it. Anyways keep up with the great content and I love your reactions as a way to brighten my day. Have a good day!

Was hoping for another heavier track. This was pretty Pop/mainstream, in comparison to the last release.

I would be shocked if this song has no relation to Covid. This album was written during lockdowns over the last 2 years so it's seems impossible that there would be no connection.

@@joshuawiedenbeck6944 “Will Of The People was created in Los Angeles and London and is influenced by the increasing uncertainty and instability in the world. A pandemic, new wars in Europe, massive protests & riots, an attempted insurrection, Western democracy wavering, rising authoritarianism, wildfires and natural disasters and the destabilization of the global order all informed Will Of The People. It has been a worrying and scary time for all of us as the Western empire and the natural world, which have cradled us for so long are genuinely threatened. This album is a personal navigation through those fears and preparation for what comes next.”
“'Compliance' is about the promise of safety and reassurance sold to us by powerful entities during times of vulnerability. Gangs, governments, demagogues, social media algorithms & religions seduce us with misleading untruths and comforting fables. They want us to join their narrow worldview in exchange for obedience and turning a blind eye to our own internal voice of reason & compassion. They just need our Compliance.”

I strongly suspect it is as well. Imagine you are a pop/rock supergroup doing world tours in sold out stadiums. That world has been your sole purpose and meaning for your whole adult life. Then suddenly it is taken away from you overnight and you are told that you can no longer connect with your fans in the flesh with no knowing when you can return to it. Obviously it is a bit more subtle and not explicit like some of the few other few artists who who released anti-lockdown songs but then again they are backed by a huge music publishing corporation so they have to be careful with what they say or risk losing their $$$.

Can you react to the New album of muse will of the people pleaaase 🙏🤞

  • @Truthtemplar

Think the 'Great Reset' W.E.F, Muse are political. New Album 'Will of the people' look at all the song titles. They have been singing about what is now visible today since they started. A band for this time, exposing the planet owners and their plans for Humanity. We entered the start (two years ago) of the biggest change humanity has/or ever will experience. Muse is over the target. No one on earth can escape what we are about to face.
