Tommy Körberg is one of the best singers in the world ever. Do check him out. And he is still alive!

Here is the original sung by Björn Gustafsson from the movie "Emil i lönneberga" 1971. th-cam.com/video/kuIX1grFLpY/w-d-xo.html

Tommy Körberg is a great singer and have been singing in Björn & Benny's (ABBA) their musicals. He has also been singing in a group called Tom & Mick. I think their hitsong was called " Somebody's taken Maria away" and they did sing together around 70's and 80's. He has a son who shared mother with the incredible missed Avicii, the famous DJ from Sweden. Tommy Körberg have also been singing the song called "Anthem", listen to that song with T Körberg and you will find what voice he has also.
"En fattig bonddräng" comes from a fairytale written by Astrid Lindgren, she's also the woman who did write Pippi Longstocking and alot of other famous fairytales.
But I prefer Tommy Johansson, I love his personality, not shy at all, he's so funny and really put his time to make the background fun or beautiful in the fridaycovers he make. And I think I did read that he just bought a new guidar and will be on vacation till August.
    ❤🎉❤

I like both versions, but I prefer Tommy's because it's got more energy. 🥰

The original is not with Tommy Körberg. It is Björn Gustafsson who sing it in Astrid Lindgrens Emil i Lönneberga.

Alfred's version is the best, even I, a finnish old guy understood most of the lyrics, it was so clear.

I prefer the "metalized" Tommy's Johansson version. More passionate and love his voice

For your question, even though I don't know the song, I'm sure the part about dressing him in white means he has been cleansed from all his wrongs by Jesus sacrifice and all is well and he is welcomed in to heaven! ❤

This song is 90% lyrics. So if you dont understand and the context of it you miss out and the reaction of it will then be quite pointless to be honest.

Tommy J has an amazing voice! But Tommy Körberg is better! You really should react to him from when he was young. For example "Anthem" but choose a version recorded in the 80's!

Both Tommyies are great. Tommy´s version is mor emotional, and Tommy´s version is more energetic, I prefere Tommyy´s version....

Non of the songs are folk songs. Nr 1 is Roger Pontare's
Eurovision Song Contest song, Nr 2 is from an Astrid Lindgren film. No. 3 is from Astrid Lindgrens film Ronja Rövardotter.

Yes, the white garb was giving to him from god and was a sign that god forgave him. And it shows the famous biblical quote "it is harder for a rich man to get into heaven than it is to get a camel throu an eye of a needle"
