Really loved this drama. The characters were great. First time seeing ML & FL, but they made a wonderful couple. This is what we call ROMANCE 🥰❤️ The story was excellent. No abuse, no violence. The least amount of Green Tea character. My only thing is it didn't need to last 3h. ❤️❤️WORTH WATCHING ❤️❤️
First impressions - while Yu Long and Mie Mie will forever be my 'uncle' younger FL OTP, this couple is running close behind. She's young but not immature, and while he's not that much older, he carries the uncle role well without being boring or overbearing. You can feel their chemistry right away and the burning embers in all their interactions just waiting to come to the surface. She's absolutely adorable and he's a delicious snack. The same as YL/MM, I'm crazy for the height difference. I like the freshness of her role - she's not the usual trope of abused, abandoned and mistreated by her family without any help. Her BFF and Yeye already adore her and she already knows the ML. The idea of her being independent and supporting herself is so much better than the poor, pitiful FL's who always need a man to save them. She's already doing well on her own. But being that this is a romance drama, let's get to them. My, oh my, once he got the green light he did everything in his power to seduce her and boy was he smooth with it. He was a delicious tease and she staked a claim on her man. My only complaint is that it dragged on for too long. The added drama with her family, the business with the artwork and the scumbag nephew were not necessary to the plot once they got together. When he kissed her in the club, we could have had the last scenes be him finally seeing her artwork and then gettin' their groove on and in the end meeting her bff and yeye as his fiancé. Another 10-15 minutes max would have taken care of that instead of dragging it out another hour. But I gotta say it was adorable seeing what happens after the HEA moment. On a side note - one of the things that always has me shaking my head and rolling my eyes is how food is represented. I guess it's a weird quirk of mine to notice and be annoyed by this, but most of the modern dramas breakfast consists of 4 slices of bread and nothing else and meals are never consumed except for hangover tea, congee or the canister of soup always brought to a hospital. It's quite ridiculous why it annoys me, but am so happy to see her actually eating a variety of food and his breakfast table looking real. And, and, and!!!! They actually wear different clothes throughout instead of the same outfit beginning to end. Call me weird, but I notice stuff like this. All in all, it was slow moving but sweet throughout and hot in some parts, so definitely worth the watch.
Thanks for writing such a comprehensive review. I, too, dislike the bread and milk for breakfast scenes, but maybe those are unique to the culture. Kind of like how some Americans only eat toast and coffee or a muffin and coffee for breakfast.😊. I totally agree with you about changing the wardrobe for different scenes, though. There is no excuse for not having a few wardrobe changes in these mini-dramas unless you are depicting impoverished people because you can borrow clothes or even get them dirt cheap secondhand. Some secondhand items are classic and never go out of style, especially men’s suits.

A lovingly created drama!! A bit slow moving but you can tell that the director frame each scene with care. Took a while to skinship. But whoa the kisses!! The ML’s voice is calm and his actions are so sweet!!! The FL is adorable
One of the sweetest romances I've watched in a while! ML and FL are kind and thoughtful. Both performed well, and they have great chemistry together! All in all, it's one of the sweetest and most wholesome dramas I've watched lately, and I'll definitely be watching it again soon! 🥰 There are some basic misunderstandings that fuel the plot in a believable way -- mostly romantic missteps due to age difference (8 years) and hesitation to confess their feelings because they don't know what the other thinks -- but this one avoids the ridiculously contrived plots that are in so many other dramas. No abu.se or revenge. No SML that's 100 times better than the ML but still gets friend zoned. No over-the-top psychotic family members or SFL to hurt the FL or their relationship. The SFL & SML aren't allowed to run wild. Rather, the FL and ML quickly see that they aren't good people and put them in their place. Though hesitant at first, their families support them and help them find their happiness!
Cute fluff with no slapping, drugging, kidnapping, screaming, drink spilling, ridiculous drinking or stupid misunderstandings. Just two people making their way towards each other. While a bit slow and long, the action was at a good pace and well acted so it kept me engaged. 😁 Side note- That “seduction” scene was so cringe worthy! The second hand embarrassment was so strong there and I kept saying- oh no! Don’t do it! 🫣 Luckily it was fairly short!

For me this drama 3 hours was too much to watch. At some point i really felt boring. The ML was good. His voice , performance was fine too but tbh i find the FL a little bit cringe so didn’t like the FL and the overall drama was good with no misunderstanding , torture.

But you complain to your friend who suggests impotence and you say "I don't think so?". How about taking responsibility and saying "I just didn't want to". In some dramas, The MLs mother gets involved and reprimands him. Like just tell her that "I'm trying, Mom, but she's not interested" instead of having your manhood called into question 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤣🤣

Cute couple. Loved it went ml beat up the one dude in the bathroom. That guy had it coming. He just kept telling lies about fl to everyone. Poor girl trying to seduce ml but for some reason he thinks its for the other dude and gets all upset with her and breaks her heart a little bit. Ml needs some common sense she was literally dressed up like that in his room not planning to go anywhere. Take a hint. It's a sweet love story not too much drama.
