I just finished making my first Teddy Bear, using your pattern and tutorial. TY. I printed 2 pages on 1, making the bear 1/2 the size. I made a memorial bear using my Mom's Minnie Mouse fleece jammie bottoms. She passed away 4 months ago and was a Disney Fanatic. I'm going to give it to my adult daughter who carries on her love for Disney.
just made a mini bear with your pattern by printing it on 4 by 6 paper. So cute, for Great Granddaughter's 1st birthday. She is going to love it. Thanks so much for pattern
i truly enjoyed the video for this bear. and i wanted to thank you for breaking it down and slowly explaining every step. your video is the best ive watched hands down. im wanting to learn as much as possible about these bears, and i have watched a lot of them.but none of them have taking the time to actually show how to sew them together. so thank you so very much for taking the time to break things down and go over each and every step.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I work really hard to make all of my sewing patterns easy for beginners to learn.. so sometimes they are more detailed or longer than normal. I’m so glad it helped!
I am considering making this bear, I have never used a pattern before, only used detailed tutorials on You Tube. Are the size for the eyes and nose listed on the pattern as well. I would have to purchase those as well. I REALLY appreciate how you explained what the markings on the pattern are for, Having never used one, I had no idea. I’ve chickened out buying patterns before because I don’t learn well with written instruction, you have made me believe I can do this one! Thanks much, I’ve subscribed!
I just wanna say God bless you for including how to do the muzzle. I was working on a different pattern and it literally just said "attach the muzzle." And that was all the instructions it gave. I've never made a teddy bear before and I was going crazy trying to figure it out. I'm gonna be using your tutorial to assemble the pieces I've got now because yours is so much more clear and informational than the one I had before.
Just made my first teddy bear with this and it came out great!!! Small tweaks I need to make (user error lol) but this + the PDF were perfect. Thank you so much ❤
Hello I want to thank u from the bottom of my heart ur video really helped me make my first teddy bear I wanted to learn how to make this and start on a dream of mine and u helped me get started with that dream I hope u keep making such amazing videos and keep helping and inspiring PPL like me love from india
Do you have a smaller size one? My dad passed way and I would like to make several from a few of his favorite shirts for all of the grandkids. I feel if they are smaller they would be easier for them to keep and put on a shelf or in a memory box.
My dad passed away too. I kept his flannel for something like that too. Afraid to cut it and mess it up! Sorry for your loss. I miss my parents very much.
T shirt material is more flimsy and stretchy. What can I use to keep it from stretching when I stuff it? Your video is awesome. I subscribed as soon as I finished watching your video. Thanks so much for sharing.
I love this!! Please do make more patterns im in love with this teddy🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am using the exact same rosy fabric and it looks just like yours🥰🥰 Thank you for this :) do you think you could one day design a bunny? My daughter would love it!!
Thank you! The rose plush fabric turns out so cute with this! I actually already have designed a bunny. :) You can see it here: th-cam.com/video/p25_FYPYPMc/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for such a complete video! I am wanting to sew an animal for my great nephew, it is from a spidey cartoon called a wozzlesnook! So using this pattern, how could I make a flat face instead of the snout and I need to add a horn! Lol
Hi, any time in sewing that you use jersey material such as t-shirts, you can use stretch interfacing. Also called knit interfacing/ non-woven interfacing
I would like to make a memory bear for my niece. All I have from her dad is t-shirts. Do you think the t-shirt fabric will work? I'm kinda new at sewing.
Question! When you sewed the ears to the head piece, did you sew them completely on or did you leave an opening for stuffing? Thank you so much for this amazing video! It's been super easy to follow with!
Aloha! I don’t personally stuff the ears. BUT if you like stuffing the ears, stuff them first and then lay them at the top of the head to sew on like I have here in the video. :)
Aloha! You can get the pattern on my website as well: alohasewingcompany.com/collections/toys-plush-sewing-patterns/products/aloha-memory-bear-keepsake-plush-sewing-pattern
Can you show me how to sew the bottom of the leg opening?...where it stops for the sole bottom foot?..I'm using cotton fabric and it does not want to fit inside that opening once I sewed it.
I'm in the middle of sewing it together myself and I am stuck. I placed the front and back pieces together and put a clip in the inseam of the legs but then I'm stuck. In the video she says to align the bottom sides of the leg with the marks from the pattern insinuating that there are two marks on each side of pattern (2 on left edge, 2 on left inseam, 2 on right inseam and 2 on right side *kinda hard to explain this way. I had someone else watch this part of video with me and they agreed it is confusing when you look at the pattern there is one mark on each side of the leg for both legs. I am afraid to continue sewing as that might cause the bottom foot pieces to not align properly. I'm so close to finishing that it's frustrating.

What size eyes and nose did you use? My first one also. I know nothing about safety eyes and nose. Please help.
How would I add a pocket to the inside with zipper in back?
Made one for a friend and loved the pattern 🥰🥰
Thanks, I'm excited to do this.

I did the exact same thing. I printed 2 of the pattern pages into 1. It made the teddy bear 1/2 the size. Turned out great.
