We bought one new when they first came out. Drove it till it rusted out. Now have a collection of 2- 2005 GT convertibles and a beautiful orange 2003 4 door my wife drives and loves all the space inside.
***** Mine is an 05, in the video it's Linen Gold with multi colored flames and chrome, it was totaled in a head-on about three years ago, when a women crossed into my lane from the opposite direction, so now drive a blue 05' ragtop! Thanks for checking out the video!
So sorry to hear THAT John, we must KEEP buying AMERICAN, it's the country we love and the country we live in! I've had my '01 for 6 years now with 227,000 miles, when I had bought it in '08 was 111,000 miles! He runs really strong (still)and I DO NOT hesitate on keeping up with an oil change every month and tune up parts(I do the work myself)! ILOVE MY PT CRUISER, there isn't a vehicle like it in the world, and mine, {HAS A SOUL OF HIS OWN}! BE (drive) SAFE BROTHER!!!
That retro at 0:58 is absolutely fabulous. Great job. Now I want to copy that with my 2010 PT. I love the rear door with the forward opening. Just excellent
You meet the nicest folks in a PT Cruiser! I really enjoyed the years I was in a PT club. I can't drive at the current time, butI hold onto my 2005 convertible Turbo GT in case my health improves enough for me to drive in the future. Thanks for the video.
EXCELLENT JOB John! Great seeing so many cool PTs and even a few I know! THANKS for sharing! Sorry it took me soooooooo long to stumble onto it here! OOPS!
I or we own 3. 2 convertibles and one beautiful orange 4 door. My wife’s daily ride. Just love them and can’t part from them. Love the looks we get from other drivers, some too young to know what they are. Lol
I envy you guys, being able to get such cool parts for your Cruisers. I can't get anything here in The Netherlands (Europe), not even the old school "chrome" hubcaps.. I tried registrering on an US PT Cruiser site, but I couldn't see the Captcha's and there was no e-mail address or anything...
I think as time goes on, it will get even more difficult. I started to have issues getting parts, like a power steering reservoir. I had to get a used one from a fellow PTer.
@@RetiredMagic983Guy Yes, even I noticed it here while only having the car for a short while. Simple rubbers for the engine supports. There are a lot of wrecked ones, but only found one GT. And it didn't have what I need... However we should be able to use Dodge Neon parts for most of it right?
well, u still can get made body parts especially just for u, but its pricey AF... i did so with my multipla. shes sweet now, no doubt, but well, it sure guzzled my piggybank...
@@Ries shit happens every time... cant really recomend u much in this case, only to park on places u know as safe. but jerks are everywhere around us, so theres my second recomendation: when someone messes with ur ride, give em a serious punch. u know, at least one teeth for a ride. worked where i live.
nah, nothing bad bout it. i do also love PTs when they stock too. cruiser is one of those not much cars that does not need anything except for nice paint (and i do not mean nessessarily airbrush paintjobs).
Joe, sadly our club doesn't host shows any longer. With that said there is a Chrysler Owners Group (COG) show in late September early October in WildWood NJ.
“Cat”, is an American slang word for a man. Much like “Bird”, was slang for the females in England during the mid 60’s. “A cool cat” would mean cool guy.
@@RetiredMagic983Guy Thanks for your explanation! It is the same down here: a handsome guy. So a handsome guy drving a PTC. Do you know where i can get lyrics of this song?
