In WWE, Jeff accomplished more as a singles wrestlers. As a fan, I’d love to see the hardy boyz inducted together, but for WWE it would make sense to split them up and highlight their singles careers. Also, it gives them two separate inductees to market and sell tickets for.

Still my all time favorite and got me into wrestling, his colorfulness captivated my little eyes and when he'd fly off those ladders and cages man it was platinum gold all around, I just wish his body took all those falls better then they did... It’s not just that he wanted to go in with his brother, it’s that he’d actually been released because of an ‘incident’ which wasn’t even an incident as they’d later find out. They wanted to cover for it and ‘make up’ for it with a hall of fame induction. Jeff even said in an interview shortly thereafter he felt kind of offended that they did that. It is easier to go with the latter statement that he wants to go in with his brother though, and I believe there is truth to that as well.
The hardy boys grew up like 10-15 minutes from my house and I was a 90’s kid so I grew up watching them flying around in the wwf, lol I swear everyone around here was “good friends” with them or their relatives or “related” to them somehow, it’s funny cus you never know who was bullshitting or telling the truth cus they grew up and I think still live like 5-10 minutes down the road and we all rode four wheelers and dirt bikes in the woods and the sand pits, lol and anytime you hit a pool up around here someone (myself included lol) is always hitting a swanton bomb front flip. They’re definitely some small town North Carolina crazy ass country legends
For both of all their mistakes, Matt deserves so much credit for being there for Jeff and never giving up on him even when it looked impossible to save him. Now thats family.
