Hi I am a New Yorker. I have never been to Uganda, but I promise you that I will be there some day. I have been to Nigeria and The Gambia within the last 8 years. I can see that Africa like the USA is becoming too materialistic. People are now buying a lot of unnecessary things. They are polluting Africa with a lot of Garbage also. I thought Africa was a poverty stricken place but I see that people seem to do a lot of shopping.

Africans more so Ugandans are hardworking people, they always want better
But the leadership doesn't seem to wish better for their people

The leadership
Uganda is one of the East African countries that is referred to as the "Pearl of Africa."
This is because of nothing else other than its beauty, fertile soil, and fascination.
It is where I hail from but I left my last foot marks here in 2000 A.D. for the promised land of Canada.
The country should now be gleaming with a lot of development and others.
However, the aging dictator-I mean Museveni and his greedy family from Rwanda, together with their National Resistant Army, which is well known for causing havoc in Uganda and the neighboring countries, have destroyed the country into nothingness...
Uganda has all it takes to be the best country in Africa but the leadership is having it left behind, maybe one day one time all will be passed
