Joe is the man, his documentary is great, i still tell people to watch it after all these years. Been juicing for like 10 years ( not every day ) but it really keeps you healthy and energized.
I watched Joe Cross's documentary "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead" for the first time yesterday, with my family. And I am super convinced that I must go on a juice fast and embark on such a life-changing journey into a whole food plant based diet.
Gonna try this myself, I weigh about 330 lbs and been poor health, most of my life, I wanna remake myself! Thanks for a better outlook, Joe's movie was awesome btw!
I just bought this juicer, and let me tell you, it is the best juicer I've ever had. It is my fourth juicer, and it does what it says it's supposed to do. I can make a gallon and a half of juice before the pulp container fills up completely. That's how much juice you get out of each piece of produce. I batch juice because I'm very busy, so that was one of the reasons why I bought it.
Bought namaJ2 a couple weeks ago in 🇬🇧 wow game changer. Inspires health. Celery juice tastes so different as does all juices and get more from your fruit and veg. I used to throw out so much pulp which was so wet. I see this as a natural health insurance policy for my family. My kiddos love carrot and orange and will drink green shots. My little boy with special needs asks for his juice and doesnt want shop bought... job done! ❤️
I had just bought the other Nama juicer and they came out with the J2. However, I’m still super happy with the other version, still way better than my previous juicer.

Wow! I didn't realize this was the guy from fat sick and nearly dead (just started watching it now) he does look different that's a fact. It's not mean it doesn't take away from what he has done in health and wellness but the guy does look different.
It’s a tough journey. I’ve been struggling with my weight for more than 15 years and I’m sick of it. I just got a Nama (I call it Namesha😂). I’m hopeful thatI stick with it and find balance in my diet.
I do both smoothies and juice now! I started juicing celery this summer in my Vitamix, but I can safely say the celery juice from my Sana 727 is WAY better tasting than what I could get from the Vitamix. Now I'm also juicing a fair amount of other greens. Both smoothies and juice are good, but I find I need less fruit making juices. FWIW.
Hey Gillian, of topic, but can I recommend a new guest for an interview: Scott Burnhard. He is a vegan calisthenics athlete on YT and he did a raw vegan 21 day detox recently and it influenced him a lot. He's high vibe and a great preacher.
Love so much Joe Cross! He was my biggest inspiration for going on juice fast, not it has become a habit. And happy he made Nama, guess for many people it is great jucier. Would be my choice too if I didn’t get my beloved Hurom h200! BTW many people don’t know, but Hurom company has patented vertical juicers plus Nama’s main parts are made in Hurom company :) ANyhow, sure, it is great one, that is great with Hurom’s genius invention. Hope you will have more juice talks with Joe, this made my day!

Joe was successful with sharing his journey, film making is his job and he inspired people to eat more fruits and veges. Joe has a food addiction and juicing does not fix that. It is extremely hard to overcome as you can see by him being overweight. It requires a mental shift and healing and setting up the environment so it becomes easy. Lot of fruit in that juice! And not all that many greens. Cucumber and celery juice are mild, I probably would go with just lemon, NO apple. Maybe add some romaine for those who need to make the celery even milder tasting. Just a suggestion for those who don't need all the excess sugar or calories.
I'm not sure if juicing whole apples is a great idea because of the cyanide. There's not much risk when eating the few seeds of the odd apple, but juicing the seeds of multiple apples, multiple times per day when on a juice fast for example...? Hmm
I notice when I put ginger, citrus peels, and other tough items through a centrifugal juice that I lose most of the juice in the waste. Curious if the J2 would do a better job extracting the high fibre items.

Juice fasts are a bit extreme and has high risk for weight rebound. Best to add juice into a healthy diet and keep fat intake low if your looking to lose weight
Over eating is an emotional issue. So a healthy diet is awesome, but the emotional factor of it has to be addressed. I've noticed many long-term raw vegans keep the weight off but he is neither vegan, nor raw. Just look at how healthy Gillian is, and the plethora of healthy guests she has as your guiding star 🌟 ❤

Maybe he needs to do a long sleep diet?
