Valentina’s son looks like he has a lot of the Baltic region DNA, like her! She is very stoic, beautiful and I totally understand why she wants to know what led to her adoption. I hope she has come to terms with her background and is happy!
Alex - you are such a humble person. Your kindness has no ends. Keep up the good work with re- uniting families. May you be highly favorited wherever you set foot.
Alex, you've done a great job helping them both enter their next chapter together, and have become even more professional with your video work. Well done, and congrats to Valentina & Alexsei.
How amazing to have found a sibling so close by! It's lucky Valentina was so young when she was taken into care she must have been through a lot as a little person ❤️
Thank you for sharing and for your work Alex. Valentina, please focus on your beautiful family and the good people that this unfortunate situation brought to you. I had the similar situation and it does rock you to your core - but you are not your bio parents. Very special thanks to your adoptive parents and your husband. Your son of course sees you as perfect - great parents of a beautiful son
Well done Alex for all the hard work and time you must have put into finding who her birth parents were. It was like the TV programme Who do you think I am.
Amazing! Alex, you're doing a very important thing!❤ Valentina and all her adopted siblings were really born under a happy star, because in Russia they would certainly have a pretty different life like in a parallel world, I would say. Happy for all of you!❤❤❤❤❤
Alex, I could’ve watched another hour of this story. I would love to find out what happens in the future with her brother finding his father and if they get in contact with their other brother, and if they get to meet their sister.
Bellissima storia. Tutta la mia simpatia, va ai genitori che adottano. Ma ho amato la storia di Valentina. Donna molto cosciente, inserita bene nella sua realtà. ❤
Some of us would have loved to have been adopted by many of these families......I felt like the outer in my biological family. Now estranged. These Russian adoptees care blessed beyond measure. ♥️🇨🇦
They literally struggled to put food on the table, in the ex USSR, in the early 90s. It is not any stranger than that. Adults were scared, traumatised and depressed. That is why so many kids were given up.
Very difficult times. I know myself with being an adoptee also from Russia. It was really hard for my birth mother. Happened a lot during this time and throughout the 90s.
I totally saw it! Valentina's sister and brother look more like each other than Valentina. Valentina doesn't even look like them. More than not females tend to take on more facial features of their fathers. It makes sense she wouldn't look like her brother since they had different fathers. Did they mention if Valentina's sister had a different father than her?
Thank you both for watching! For Valentina - Yes her sister in Russia has a different father. The sister would often tell us that it was a very difficult time for her as she witnessed a lot that happened. Thank you so much for watching 🙏
@@alexgilbert Thank you for your research 2 half-siblings for Valentina. It seems that all 3: Victoria, Valentina and Alexei have the same bio Mother but all 3 have different father. Is that correct Alex? THANKS a lot.
It’s crazy that they will have all maybe grown up together to a certain point as they seem to share the same mother? Good luck to them all in connecting.
can they explain what parent they had the same of.. the mother I guess. and who were the other sibling adopted into the family with her.. real siblings or just other Russian kids.?
Unfortunately he had disconnected from the family all together. Really unfortunate and sad for the family. But the parents are doing everything that they can on their end. Absolutely.
To me, she has a typical Russian face. She seems so familiar. It was like we were in the same class or lived next door to each other when we were kids. She looks like a lot of people I know.
From DNA Test Valentina is 69% from Baltic Yes one of Valentina's parents is from Baltics region. We will know more with Victoria's story... Thank you Alex 🎉❤
Thank you very much for your done. Russische Kinderheime haben ihr Bestes getan und kein Kind wurde beleidigt oder beschimpft für das , was ihre Eltern evtl taten. Das ist Russische Ehre ❤

Alex, you should be nominated for the Goid as Gold award. You truly deserve.
Good idea
What a beautiful young woman. Thank you Alex for helping her ❤

Fantastic Alex, so important for we adoptees to know where we come from, and if possible to meet our birth relatives.
A real story about real people, tragedy, and ultimately uplifting and joyous reconnecting with family

Счастья Валентине и её семье. Очень смелые и открытые люди. Она большая молодец, что решилась на поиски родственников. Это смелый шаг.
wow, great work! You never know what you are going to find, good luck to them all reconnecting.
Alex I love watching your programs. They are seriously well put together. Very professional indeed.
Well done Alex for all the hard work and time you must have put into finding who her birth parents were. It was like the TV programme Who do you think I am.
Valentina is spot on. Adoptees should know their family background. But we have to fight, and pay for, that information. 😢
What a beautiful young woman. Thank you Alex for helping her ❤

Alex your videos are fantastic.
Alex, you are a miracle worker. God bless you
Incredible heartfelt journey, a silver lining to the siblings.
Alex, you did a great work
Well done Alex! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from Solvang,California! ❤
I can't imagine the abuse her mom must have suffered before she had enough.
A truly sad situation but I am truly happy that for Valentina she has some closure but also new connections for her.
You're making a lot of unfounded assumptions
Brilliant outcome
I saw Valentina, and I knew Valentina is either Latvian or Estonian. I am Latvian, and I can tell you Valentina looks like one of us.
As all Europeans !
Great episode! 🎉

Valentina looks like Kirstin Dunst. Very interesting video.
Adopted children are traumatized.i was five years old when taken away from my bio family and adopted..I am now 74 and still grieve..
Not all adoptee are traumatized! My daughter was adopted at 90 days of life.
I am sorry for your grief and loss. Even now healing is possible! May you be comforted that you are loved by God❤
You are doing a great job
Interesting Nature versus Nurture examples here. Truly fascinating.

Wonderful
The older siblings must have had memories of the parents
The older sister Viktoria did yes, but was in a boarding school later on, but she definitely remembered the parents. Thank you for watching!
Is it me, or do I see some similarities between Valentina’s son & her sister?🖤
Thank you for helping others, Alex.🤎

Was she adopted with her birth siblings? Your videos are always so amazing.
Not her birth siblings, but other adoptive siblings who were also from the orphanage when she was adopted. Thank you so much for watching :)
