this video was really informative and well-made, great job! i have to say though, i find it kinda strange that we still celebrate thanksgiving with such a focus on turkey. wouldn't it be cooler to explore more sustainable or plant-based options? just a thought!
My family turkey didn't come from there. We raise and cull our turkey every year. We know what went into our thanksgiving dinner. Everyone in the family works for thanksgiving meal. The kids feed and water the birds. Every weekend we clean coops and runs. So it was ok. But even my kids know what the difference between a baby chick and a baby turk looks like, so they every pointed it out. But the loved up beat music.
It’s a little bit sad when the turkeys get their neck sliced.I am vegan & Meat supporter I want to say thank you to all farmers, and all the truckers out there who are bringing these types of food, vegetables and meat products to our supermarkets around the world
I dont know about turkeys, but chickens, they only keep the female chickens and they sort out the males when they are little chicks. Those little male chicks are ground up and turned into feed.
I noticed you didn't comment on what happens to the poor little chicks that did not make the grade. Do you just trash them in an inhumane way or pass them off to someone else?
@@processarea91 Better get use to eating crow. Because Canada sends a lot more than just turkeys. We sell beef, pork, chicken, about 20% of all your vegetables 15% of your fruit. A lot of wheat, a lot of canola oil, there is a very long list of things America gets from Canada and consume everyday.
@@zzzubmno2755 guess what the farmers who are struggling to sell their turkeys are getting the markets and grow their business good luck you eating your own turkeys 😅😮😂
The corn feed comes from the US and if Trump imposes tariffs then the feed will get it and that increase will carry over when the bird is processed then increase again after the tariffs so it will be almost twice the cost per pound before the market!
The majority of the turkeys we use are grown in the States. The climate is much warmer there, and we can get year-round growth cycles compared to the amount that we get from Canada. Our neighbors were turkey growers with 12 turkey barns and every 8 weeks turkeys were hauled off for processing.
You know this is very upsetting Im glad I dont eat turkey no more IM vegan these turkeys and along with other animals endure a destiny which is death and suffering I really cant sit down to eat a turkey dinner anymore Im gld Im vegan for these precious animals I pray for a universe change that animals are no longer will be used for food or any exploitation in suffering for human consumption or entertainment 🙏

Happy holidays!
Turkeys are sustainable, as to the other option, hell no!
I've never heard an animal advocate push for rights of insects or ugly creatures. Its always the cute animals
Hahaha 😂😂
Nope. Turkey works for me
The machine does so much of the work. It's really good to see how our food is processed.
Peta is probably losing their minds right now!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Too bad for them people have to eat.
The production process is presented in such detail and professionalism, truly eye-opening!
This about turkeys, so why (7:12) are you showing chickens?
That day is almost here, are you excited?
I thought the same thing
Because the end process is the same for chicken or Turkey
Turkey and chicken videos are mixed together.
yes, and when the AI voice was talking about the 1800s, it showed people from the 1950s sitting down to dinner.
"with God as my witness, I thought Turkeys could fly" WKRP🤣
Wild turkeys can fly a short distance
The music knowing they’re going to die and be eaten by us. Happy music.😂😂😂😂
That contrast is hilarious do you think they’d prefer a dramatic soundtrack instead?

Interesting thanks.
Its amazing how a TURKEY turns into a CHICKEN AT 7.39.
Ive watched the first 2 minuets of this video, and most of the footage shows chickens and not turkeys!! Get your facts right please!!!!
The video shows baby chicks
The Facts were correct. Don't be a clout chasing troll trying "to be right" all the time.
Plus it’s more about breaks and music. The video could have been cut in half with the extra fluff.
Video could have been half the time without all the music and long pauses.
You sound like a a i bot. But she was correct they are chickens not turkey so she was not clout chasing she was just stating facts @@Cocytus
That's amazing!
Thanks!
Well this article was supposed to be about harvesting turkeys but chickens were shown.
Somebody got videos of chickens instead of turkeys and said to NOBODY GANA KNOW😅😅😅. I even saw a ham😅
It’s a little bit sad when the turkeys get their neck sliced.I am vegan & Meat supporter I want to say thank you to all farmers, and all the truckers out there who are bringing these types of food, vegetables and meat products to our supermarkets around the world
They must use some kinda chemicals...them turkeys turned into chickens
Your daily life on the farm feels like a movie.
Happy Christmas!
Happy new year
Not for these poor little babies 😞😞🙏🌿
It’s fascinating to see the process do you think it changes how people appreciate their Thanksgiving meal?
meanwhile some alien species far away see's this video and thinks, hmmm.... we could process them the same way, (them = us) lmao 😃😃😃😃
Merry Christmas 🤣🤣
Same to you!
Wow wow wow good
That day is almost here, are you excited?
They said that the baby chicks are sorted only keeping the ones that meet their standards. What happens to the chicks that don't meet the standards?
They get their necks rung
I dont know about turkeys, but chickens, they only keep the female chickens and they sort out the males when they are little chicks. Those little male chicks are ground up and turned into feed.

Dog food
more solar enery should be used in California,Arizona, New Mexico,Nevada,Texas,Florida and Hawaii;where there is always sun .
Yummy!
😋
I like the music background it caughting. I never hear the name of the song or the title
😁This video is supposed to about turkey farming and turkey processing, right. Why do you use chicken processing instead?
I noticed you didn't comment on what happens to the poor little chicks that did not make the grade. Do you just trash them in an inhumane way or pass them off to someone else?
Not sure he knew the difference between a turkey and a chicken?
Normally, you don't "Peak Condition" a baby chick tossing them out of buckets.
OMG. Poor babies 😞😞🙏🌿🌿
Would help if you knew the difference between chickens an turkeys.
It it me or some of them turkey look like chicken
Oddly similar… it’s as if they’re the same type of animal or something.
Those are definitely chickens 7:39
Chickens are just small turkeys 😂
So what happens to the chicks that don't meet the highest quality standards? Do they become hot dogs?
Do they hire Mexican workers?
That’s a good question do you think hiring locally or internationally makes a bigger difference in farming efficiency?
That day is almost here, are you excited?
They shred up the chicks that don't meet the standard 😢
They have chickens masquerading as turkeys!
Sick. Poor babies don't deserve this. Be kind, be vegan 😞😞🙏🌿
Couldn’t take the heavy intro music.
I see immigrants among the workforce, but where were the child workers?
I think I'm moving towards vegetarian. These poor animals
I've been vegan for 5 years, lots of alternatives out there now.😞🙏🌿
It has to smell horrible in there
That guy should not be throwing those chicks...That's why I stopped watching. I keep poultry myself but I don't throw chicks.
Rich people jobs
The music is horrible.
A lot of turkeys in the U.S comes from Canada. So, if trump puts on tariffs, be prepared to pay more for your turkeys.
Looks like tariffs might make Thanksgiving dinner a bit pricier what’s your favorite alternative to turkey?

Well said! Vegan for 5 years ago and loving it 😁👍🙏🌿
What a sad and disgusting thing to show people!!!!
That's amazing!
Thanks!
