- Ridge argues with Det. Sanchez that Emma’s death was an accident. Alone, Thomas angrily yells at a photo of Hope while threatening Liam. Ridge is hesitant to tell Det. Sanchez about Thomas’s past. Brooke believes that Thomas was involved in much more than Ridge believes. Thomas’s rage is fueled when Hope calls to deliver bad news.

It’s so weird that Thomas was all nuts over Hope. He had an infatuation with her when they were younger but he met Caroline and Sally… he had moved on. I don’t get why the writers did this to him.
Plus he made out with Brooke on that island.
Thomas always had issues, he has a long history of weird behavior.
And his mother is looney Taylor, so it's not even that unrealistic.
Wait untill 2023. Using the succes of working with Hope at Hope For The Future, Thomas will manipulate Hope in a different way. Some people don't believe this, but Thomas will then take advantage of Hope's vulnerability... He will talk smoothly to Hope to let her heart melt and makes Liam look bad in front of Hope. Thát will be Thomas' strategy in 2023.
after losing both sally and caroline (which i still believe he killed her) hope was the only one left and he saw how she was with douglas !
He was crazy way before Hope was even an adult. He planned murder for crying out loud. It's not like he is suddenly a psycho since the Beth SL.
I'm sorry but when Thorsten came on this show pretty much died to me. All this gruffness isn't very Ridge like and I find it annoying

Why does Brooke say all that stuff in front of the detective. She’s never cared for ridges kids.
Because Ridge is just as delusional as his son. Thomas is not some child that made "some poor choices". He doesn't want to acknowledge that Thomas DID play a part in driving Emma off the road. She was driving fast because Thomas was chasing her and she was scared of what he would do if he caught her. And Thomas is a danger to Hope, Brooke's child. NuRidge never cared about Brooke's other kids either.
