Is there a large Toys R Us store in western Canada, above Washington & Oregon? I hope so because my best friend drives up there 2 Canada whenever he gets the chance 2 (lucky bum) & has always wanted 2 take me along (I now unfortunately live further down south), & I told him I'd love 2 & especially hope 2 drop by a traditional Toys R Us.
I hate how if you google anything about toys r us there’s barely any information about what’s going on. It’s so frustrating because we know there’s whole stores still in Canada and other places but okoine all it says that they all closed… so annoying
I think they have one in mall of America and some malls but they don’t have a large selection as the old ones. My local toys r us became an Amazon fresh.
Very expensive in there. But I still enjoy it I love looking at the toys and I like shopping for my little nephew in toys are us. I love the smell of toys r us when walking in. I'm getting a second nephew soon. Go inside babies r us snd shop for the new baby.
Yeah toys r us still exist in Canada and I know a toys r us in Calgary that is close by that still exist that me and my mom have gone over there when I was a young 2000s kid. Growing up in the 2000s gens when my mom would take me over to toys r us to get me a toy or a video game back when I remember when toys r us used to sell physical video games Which I can still see in fact they stop selling physical video games since no one is even buying them anymore in their stores which I always know in fact digital media is on the rise. While physical media now is on a downfall since too many people now prefer buying games digitally which I don't really blame them that they decide to stop selling them since there Is no point on them selling physical video games anymore when no one is even bothering buying them anymore more and I can see how it hurts stores like toys r us when people but Games digitally like damn I honestly feel so old to see how toys r us has changed even the one that me and my mom have gone to from someone like me that is at the age of 25 and Decide to take a visit over at the same gamestop that me and my mom have gone to just to see the game section area has been changed into a lego section.
In Australia, Toys R Us is reopening their stores in 2025. They will launch a psychical stores, with the first being in Clayton, Victoria.
I have a feeling that they are closing some Canadian stores to open up new stores in other parts of the country.
@T3XACAN0 You might be right!

Yeah, I think there are some. Google Toys R Us British Columbia Canada and you'll see where the locations are. Langley, BC has one.
The Canadian division was sold to another company that I don't remember its name.
Fairfax, I think?
@@T3XACAN0 Yep. They sold it to Putman Investments (Owner of Sunrise Records) in 2021.
Last time I went to a toysrus in the us was in 2003 in Houston. I got a yugioh “jinzo” tin box
