its usless no computer version, most e-commerce sellers use computers and some sort of a camera we both know taht selling using a phone is a wast of time for someone thats been on the ebay game for a wile, this might be useful for a starter.

I’ve been using PhotoRoom for a while now, and love the app!❤️ I never have any problems with the app at all. Using other apps were so time consuming! And never could finish editing fast enough or get a clear white background

I learned something else. I work full time as well and felt overwhelmed to get my listings up. I have a new process which may seem unproductive, but I’m getting my clothing listings up. I steam the clothes, then only touch each item once more. I measure, do pics, edit pics w PhotoRoom, list, then toss in bin. Before putting the full bin back , I fold and put all in clear poly.. while watching tv or doing cocktail hour! Lol This has been life changing. I decided it was better to get however many listings up... rather than try to match pics later. If I get interrupted I at least got some up. Funny thing is I’m getting more up.. less pics forever on my phone, less confusion. I know everyone is trying to work faster. I decided to work better with my full time job. Maybe this will help someone else!

I use photoroom and it's the best app for editing my photos for ebay. I normally scan items but I have some items I photograph thru the photoroom app. Using my android Samsung ultra 23.
I 100% agree. PhotoRoom is the best background remover I’ve ever used. In fact, I just cancelled my subscription to Adobe Photoshop because it didn’t do half as well. It’s awesome.

I’m a huge fan of PhotoRoom! Like you, I used it one day and upgraded to the Pro version the same day. I have been using it since January and can’t imagine Reseller Life without it! I used to avoid maxi dresses when thrifting because of the photo issues. Now I can take a photo with carpet and the body form base showing and PhotoRoom takes it all out instantly. Batch editing on the iPhone is magical! 😄
Just started my Ebay store back off after 4 years off. I bought the full year of PhotoRoom but each time I go on there it shows me to get 1 week free and buy full year. I click buy full year AGAIN and it shows I already purchased it but the Photo Room logo continues to show on my photos (just have 2 items listed as I get the cobwebs out, lol) and it still asks if I want the Pro version! I know that I need to contact them about this but maybe others are having this same issue?
Thanks for this review. I've been experimenting with the online Photoroom background remover on a PC after watching it, and so far only one photo hasn't worked perfectly, and that's probably my fault, as it doesn't have as much contrast between the items and the background as others. If you don't mind (or like) black backgrounds, I've found any minor errors in the edge finding are far less visible with a black background, at least for the engineering components in my photos. Also, my photo background is also black. Having a similar background colour to the colour you're converting to really helps if small holes don't get detected - they are very visible if you totally change the background colour, but not really noticeable at all if the photo background colour is very similar.
Hello I like your video. I do have a question. What about active listings. Is there an easy way to use Photo Room on those listings? I have over 250 listing i would like to use Photo Room on this items. Or is this app only for new listings. Thank you
My PhotoRoom doesn’t have these buttons why? There is no one to contact to see why? I have an iPhone and when I downloaded the app at first it allowed me to change the background color to white and the pixel size. Now I can’t do any of this and I am signed in. What do I do to fix it?
I am glad you went through this fully. I had the paid subscription for photo room and cancelled it just because i got it for the bulk editing option and i wasn’t crazy about the fact that you had to hit next on every picture at the end.. If I messed up I thought i would have to start over. I would love to see them change this in the future. However after seeing your video i think i may give it another try! The time you calculated is a great deciding factor!! Ty so much it was very informative!!
Love this comparison video! I use all of these apps! One tip in FotoFuze, if you click the little robot feature on the bottom left corner, it will highlight the object for you, so you don’t have to use your finger. 🙂🙂

@@AmberResells it hasn’t always been a feature but within the past 6 months it has been there. And don’t worry about the review, it’s still not as good as PhotoRoom AND the app never tells you what those buttons are anyway, lol.
I use PhotoRoom and Snapseed. I use Snapseed in case the color is off for some reason, you can warm or cool the colors, etc. It is a lot like Photoshop
I watched this video, and I decided to try the app. Downloaded it, and it took about 5 minutes to figure out the buttons. Emailed myself two perfectly "repaired" photos that had junky backgrounds that are now pure white, with no stripping away of the product in random spots. Thank you Amber for doing this video. It's called remove.bg. It does a great job and seems much easier than the the first two apps you showed. It's not super fast, but I have satellite so it might be that.
Wow! I had decided to cut my editing down because it took took long so, but I hated the way they looked without editing. I have been using fotofuze and then pic tap go, but this app is so much faster! I can't wait for batch editing 🎀

Photoroom looks great. Do you know if it works on a desktop? I have an iphone but I use a real camera and my desktop to have better control over my photos.

Thanks for the deep dive! Photoroom is definitely quicker, however I've found solutions to two of the issues you had with Snapseed. 1. If the background is still yellow after you place your dots, click the check (done) button, then select the dot tool again. You can do that as many times as you need. 2. You can use the brush to get rid of large swaths of unwanted color/background. Choose the exposure brush, up it to 1.0, and swipe. If you mess up, decrease the number to 0. Of course, it doesn't remove everything, so you may need to click the check (done) and reuse the exposure brush. Yes, it is tedious, but it works. I will TOTALLY get Photoroom when batch processing comes out on Android, but until then, I like a few other features of Snapseed (contrast, saturation, color pop).
Subscriber here. Why don't you use a green background, upload the pics to gimp, use the magic wand and click the green background. Then you add any background you want. If your lighting is off, you may have to do a few magic wand clicks, but it's faster than that app?
@@AmberResells step one, you upload your background with the size you want. This step is not repeated again. Step two, click and drag 5, 10,15,20 pics at a time. Step 3. Make invisible all your layers(images) with 1 click. Step 4 make visible 1 image at a time. Step 5, click the background, remove it. Then save it. It's 7 to ten steps, but they are quick clicks of the mouse and it's free. There are zero issues like the AI erasing part of the image when it's a similar color to the background you're erasing. You can also add pre-made text on the fly. You can also adjust the perspective of the image if something is off and much more all within the same application.
Photoroom helped me to list my photos faster. I previously used Snapseed but at times the process took so long to tweak one photo. Now my photos are clean and bright and completed in a fraction of the time. Thank you for this comparison video.
You don’t have to manually trace the photo in FotoFuze. Click the “robot” (I’m not sure what the icon is) in the bottom left corner. It highlights the photo for you in a second.

Never heard of this app before. Seems to work extremely well! I just use the Ebay background remover tool because I hate having too many different apps and because I'm cheap lol. It works pretty well, except on white/lighter colored items. But the multi edit feature of up to 100 photos is AMAZING!!! If that feature makes it to Android version I may seriously have to convert!!!
I think it can actually do MORE than 100 photos. 100 photos was just what I chose for the experiment. I'll definitely be posting when batch is out on Android!

Very nice job doing the comparison. I could tell from watching other resellers that Photoroom would beat what I was previously doing and was glad when they finally released it for Android! Love it.
I found out about photoroom in a FB group and I love it!!! Thank you for teaching me how to edit multiple photos at once on it!!! Thank you also for showing me the select function on snapseed. I prefer that app for adjusting brightness, rotating and cropping, so I end up using both. My lighting stinks, so the lower parts of longer dresses often look super dark. I'm now using select in snapseed to lighten those areas until I can afford proper lighting. Thanks again and as always for teaching us such useful info
Photoroom is definitely fast but in my experience it changes the colors of your item a bit. For example gray looks more like taupe or beige, blue shows up as gray, etc etc. when I try to fix the colors using my phone app then the white background start changing too.
It's great to hear that the video was helpful even though you've already downloaded Photoroom! I'm interested to see what else they come up with in the future as I know they are really trying to make features that resellers will use!

Wow! Batch edit is great! I use the free version and crop out their logo. I might splurge for the paid version for the batch feature. I do use an iPhone. It’s super tedious to do one picture at a time the crop it further on my Mac later. It’ll be such a time saver!
Have you ever tried pic collage it seems to have a-lot of the same features as the one you bought. It doesn’t have the bulk editing. I am interested in seeing how well it does!

If your interested I have been using a legal va to load up to Ebay they do all activities im not on Instagram much anymore if your interested ill give you the information its not list perfect or vendoo I have used both n I like vendoo its so quick im only keeping it now to delist n relist. Also not sure if you know this but put your cover photo first n last so it will be the image in the buyers mind last in stead of a material tag or pant leg etc. 😘

There is a free app called remove background that works almost like photo room. I wish it had the batch feature.

Photoroom looks great. Do you know if it works on a desktop? I have an iphone but I use a real camera and my desktop to have better control over my photos.
They plan to make it available at some point, but unfortunately it is not yet available on desktop.

Even with multiple purchases of WHITE LED lights, huge white plastic background.... still couldn't get my photos to turn out. This app is unbelievably so EASY! Thanks for the deep dive! Photoroom is definitely quicker, however I've found solutions to two of the issues you had with Snapseed. 1. If the background is still yellow after you place your dots, click the check (done) button, then select the dot tool again. You can do that as many times as you need. 2. You can use the brush to get rid of large swaths of unwanted color/background. Choose the exposure brush, up it to 1.0, and swipe. If you mess up, decrease the number to 0. Of course, it doesn't remove everything, so you may need to click the check (done) and reuse the exposure brush.
Yes, it is tedious, but it works. I will TOTALLY get Photoroom when batch processing comes out on Android, but until then, I like a few other features of Snapseed (contrast, saturation, color pop).

Subscriber here. Why don't you use a green background, upload the pics to gimp, use the magic wand and click the green background. Then you add any background you want. If your lighting is off, you may have to do a few magic wand clicks, but it's faster than that app?

@@AmberResells step one, you upload your background with the size you want. This step is not repeated again. Step two, click and drag 5, 10,15,20 pics at a time. Step 3. Make invisible all your layers(images) with 1 click. Step 4 make visible 1 image at a time. Step 5, click the background, remove it. Then save it. It's 7 to ten steps, but they are quick clicks of the mouse and it's free. There are zero issues like the AI erasing part of the image when it's a similar color to the background you're erasing. You can also add pre-made text on the fly. You can also adjust the perspective of the image if something is off and much more all within the same application.

Photoroom helped me to list my photos faster. I previously used Snapseed but at times the process took so long to tweak one photo. Now my photos are clean and bright and completed in a fraction of the time. Thank you for this comparison video.
You don’t have to manually trace the photo in FotoFuze. Click the “robot” (I’m not sure what the icon is) in the bottom left corner. It highlights the photo for you in a second.
Hi Alyssa. Someone else mentioned this as well. Oops! I never realized that until I uploaded this video and you and someone else mentioned this. I don't think that functionality was in the app when I first started using it.

Never heard of this app before. Seems to work extremely well! I just use the Ebay background remover tool because I hate having too many different apps and because I'm cheap lol. It works pretty well, except on white/lighter colored items. But the multi edit feature of up to 100 photos is AMAZING!!! If that feature makes it to Android version I may seriously have to convert!!!
I think it can actually do MORE than 100 photos. 100 photos was just what I chose for the experiment. I'll definitely be posting when batch is out on Android!
Excellent video! I have a bunch of friends that love Bazaart but I love Photo Room and have used it for a while now. And it has so many great features besides white background.

I did notice it seems like your photos are downloaded on my app. Maybe it was just what’s in there? I don’t know. Seems like a lot of data downloaded that’s not needed. But I’m new to this so maybe it’s just me and I don’t understand enough about it yet.

Just installed the app...it is fabulous! Photo editing takes so much time, and fun, out of listing...now it won't feel like such a chore...can you let us know when they include batch editing for Android and then i will sign up for the annual subscription...thank you so much!!!!!!

I found out about photoroom in a FB group and I love it!!! Thank you for teaching me how to edit multiple photos at once on it!!! Thank you also for showing me the select function on snapseed. I prefer that app for adjusting brightness, rotating and cropping, so I end up using both. My lighting stinks, so the lower parts of longer dresses often look super dark. I'm now using select in snapseed to lighten those areas until I can afford proper lighting. Thanks again and as always for teaching us such useful info

Photoroom is definitely fast but in my experience it changes the colors of your item a bit. For example gray looks more like taupe or beige, blue shows up as gray, etc etc. when I try to fix the colors using my phone app then the white background start changing too.
I'll keep an eye out for this!

Wow! Batch edit is great! I use the free version and crop out their logo. I might splurge for the paid version for the batch feature. I do use an iPhone. It’s super tedious to do one picture at a time the crop it further on my Mac later. It’ll be such a time saver!

Have you ever tried pic collage it seems to have a-lot of the same features as the one you bought. It doesn’t have the bulk editing. I am interested in seeing how well it does!

If you buy the pro version, there is no watermark. The watermark is only on the photos if you use the free version.

I just loaded n used love it and can't wait for the batch part then all photos will look consistent. I have just been changing my some of my first photos. I too started back on ebay and my sales have increased. If your interested I have been using a legal va to load up to Ebay they do all activities im not on Instagram much anymore if your interested ill give you the information its not list perfect or vendoo I have used both n I like vendoo its so quick im only keeping it now to delist n relist. Also not sure if you know this but put your cover photo first n last so it will be the image in the buyers mind last in stead of a material tag or pant leg etc. 😘
