The great Nusrat Saab allowed audience to whistle , dance, jump and even shout and was not disturbed and continued his performance flow. Gulam is different. Any whistle would disturb him. Even loud appreciation created angry face. Shows the personality differences.
I agree! I thought I was the only one who had that kind of impression of Ghulam Ali. I mean, far from me to insult such a talented man such as him but personality wise and general kindness and tolerance towards his audience seemed a bit unlikeable not to mention odd. I know someone who has met many "kalaakars" including this man. They told me that he was very stuck up and rude. And to be honest I believe them. His expressions here and his anger towards others just proves that point. But don't get me wrong. Indeed talented he was but in regard to his personality, certainly he wouldn't be on the top of my list in terms of kindness
My father was listening his cassettes in his car and i was only 13 but used to listen his ghazals and still enjoying now i am 40+
