PD, Hyunjae has actually starred in a webdrama called "I Can See Your MBTI" which you can find on TH-cam, but there are only 2 short episodes, I'm not sure what happened LOL but as a hyunjae (and juyeon) stan I totally feel you PD, his lifeguard look especially was just PERFECT... and I can totally envision Hyunjae making it big as an actor in the future! He's already shown lots of potential in the webdrama, he's so charismatic :)
Yeah about that. They only make 1 or2 ep then they wait and see how audiences react to it. I think if it gets more views, likes and demand they make a full web drama I think. But idk what happened.
Yes and i think youghoon too has a big potential for acting he already do some role but even his last cover was incredible for the acting that one make me realize how much he can be good at acting

@@ness5209 actually I’m one of the Deobi who got to know about tbz from road to kingdom. Before that I didn’t care about kpop that much. I just was a causal listener but since I liked watching survival show and saw tbz I was so impressed and mesmerized with their performance. I am so thankful that I got to know them. Really I’ve never stanned anyone this much

I see you have not come across Sunwoo's heavenly singing voice yet. When I first heard him sing, I was so shocked! His voice is amazing! He could legit be a lead vocal. I recommend listening to some of his singing compilations!
AGREED. His sweet vocals on Break Your Rules??? Absolute chef's kiss. If you'd never heard him sing and only listened to the song, you'd never realize it was their MAIN RAPPER with that heavenly voice, but Sunwoo is one of THE greatest fourth gen all-rounders, end of story.
His vocals actually made me stan. I knew for sure they were all-rounders, the same feeling I had when I saw the Hiphop unit of Seventeen can sing too, it's not sth you see much in groups nowadays
Sunwoo’s singing voice is actually really pretty and romantic sounding, similar to jacob’s in that way but definitely different tones. You should watch jacob and sunwoo’s vlive where they cover a bunch of songs on acoustic guitar, you can really hear just how great of a vocalist sunwoo is!

HAHAHAHAHAA i’m can relate to this so bad but as a mirae, yes I agree I strongly AGREE, he’s going to be huge (rn he’s already being praised and recognized for his beauty but he has the potential to be a king). I’m already Sunwoo and Hyunjae biased but they really shined here, especially Sunwoo. I’m so happy they just got their 4th win today! They deserve so much more recognition and attention for how truly talented and hardworking they are.

Yes! Bae Yeongjoon is correct, and I completely agree with you on this Hyunjae actor spiel. Bae Yeongjoon was so big in the film industry that his Winter Sonata drama reached even my mom and she made me watch it when I was still a kid. I could definitely see Hyunjae take the same path as him if he chooses to do so because he has the charisma and natural talent for grabbing the camera, plus I think he starred in a webdrama before too!

i loVED this song it was so unlike any other title track they've done, but it was still so clearly THEM you know? actually, the entire album was full of sounds that were new for them, but they found a way to still make it sound like a "the boyz song". i totally agree with what you said about it being a fun song-EVERYTHING about the comeback was just so fun and bright and youthful;; i genuinely genuinely have fun watching their stages too, because you can see how much they enjoy it themselves. the music video- i could probably pause at any point and hang the resulting frame up on my wall, because it's stUNNing

PD always interpret my thinking into words better than I could ever done lmao. This is my favourite tbz comeback too. It does not sound too over the top but it is extremely refreshing and their skills are even more outstanding with a simpler song like this. I truly enjoy it and I can't stop listening and watching their stages because they're really really good on this comeback!!
Visually Hyunjae kinda reminds me of Park Hyungsik (who is an actual idol-turned-actor). That's just a random thought that popped into my head when you metioned about Hyunjae going into acting

At first I wasn’t sure about the song but the more I listened to it the more I love it
I think tbz's this cb is one of the best cb ever in kpop! MV is simple but looks great! Especially song and coreo is awesome! It's fresh but also hip hop and full of energy ~ Also you should check their dance practice, their energy and sync is perfect!
wasn't a big fan of the boyz sound and only liked their giddy giddy up song but this one left me impressed and I was listening to it on repeat when it came out

WAIT, PD, YOU'VE NEVER HEARD SUNWOO SING BEFORE THIS?!??!?!?! Please, I recommend you listen to their 3rd mini-album, The Only. Sunwoo sings quite a bit on there. It's HEAVENLY. That boy is an all-rounder, I'm telling you. He's so, so, talented.
One of things I loved most about this comeback is that the members seem to genuinely enjoy it and have so much fun! This is so apparent not just in the MV but in all their music show performances.. Maybe it had to do with the fact that they did Kingdom for the last few months, which I could tell they felt a pretty big burden bc of, and a few times it shows in their performances.. So coming out of all that and into this very fun and refreshing comeback where the members themselves said they want to have the most fun in, that energy is SO tangible.. So I'm not just happy to watch them perform like this after a while, I'm also happy FOR them that they're able to just enjoy performing without the burden of a being in a competition! Their fun energy is off the charts in this one, and it's what makes this comeback so much more amazing than it already is..
i love this song a lot bc it is fun and bubbly but the lyrics arent like, silly or childish. i feel like sometimes groups feel like they can't do fun or bubbly bc it's too "immature" but it works really well here.
as some other deobis have shared, hyunjae starred in a mini web drama called "i can see your mbti" and it was also just announced that he'll be in an entertainment show soon with other idols called "we became a family"
also please watch out for haknyeon's acting debut in goedam season 2, younghoon's new drama, and a probable second season of hyunjun's bl drama color rush :)

As much as I appreciated their more recent comebacks, I'd been missing their brighter sound, so I'm so happy with "Thrill Ride!" Even if it's reminiscent of earlier songs, I still think it's more mature, like they're not really going backwards.
sunwoo's singing voice is very sweet and soothing and is waaay different from his rapping voice, i sugegst you to listen to his self produced song "berry"

PD, I appreciate so much that I can always rely on you to give both honest and relatable opinions. Like, I know if you didn't particularly enjoy this, you'd simply say so, and that means your unabashed appreciation of the video brings me SO much happiness as a Deobi! I fully agree this is one of the best things they've ever done and that the brightness of the concept really shines a light on just how far they've come as a group, honing their skills. I found myself laughing and bouncing and nodding along as you highlighted the same things that delight me. And Q/Changmin's face when he dances is SUCH a big part of that! You can see it in their RTK Heroine stage with Oneus, too, the way he just lights up when he dances and you can feel how much fun he's having and how much he loves what he's doing. That sense of joy from the Boyz just MAKES this track.
