See that's the thing, with music people need to realize everyone has a different opinion about the way artists evolve their sounds. The fact that artists take the risk to evolve is worthy enough of appreciation let alone if it sounds good or not.
This tune bears a somewhat resemblence of his 'Beautiful' Production when it gets to the riff at 2:45 & onwards. It's difficult to explain in full but you should know what I mean if you compare the two tracks.
