I find that using roofs from the brush tool mod is indeed clunky. Sometimes the game doesn't register their normally functional properties, like keeping weather out. The military tent brushes(walls, windows) are also weird, and sadly, zombies can destroy them like all player built construction. I was in the process of building a fenced off "pop-up camp with tents" in a West Point parking lot that simulated what they might do if their clinics were at capacity, and zombies kept wandering in (yes, I was invisi and in ghost/god mode) and attacking the tent walls lmao. It even made sounds like they were hitting a door. Yes, a tent wouldn't realistically withstand a zombie, but geez it was annoying.
