On paper Matt’s wrecker should dominate, but I think it’s a little too much, building something completely from scratch is quite the undertaking, and I think a lot of little things are going to be issues. Sorry Matt , Team Rory all the way! Chad seems to becoming the link , he’ll have to do some work for Rory,Eric and Merlin 😅
@@jcar1417 Rory's Trail Mater is as custom/built from scratch as you can get. The advantage they have is that Rory has a lot of time in it. He knows what it can and can't do, and has worked out all of the bugs. Matt, and to a lesser degree Paul, are going in with brand new one-offs, and it's going to take a lot of luck (and field repairs) to keep those to going. For me, it's concerning that Matt broke the drive line in WLORW. That driveline was massive, and he even made a point in one video to emphasize how beefy it was. And it's already broken on one of the first obstacles. Bottom line is, my money's on Rory, just because his truck already has the bugaboos sorted and will likely hold up.
I’m glad I got to see Matt’s wrecker in its element the first time on Chad’s channel. That thing is a beast ! It even got it’s first rescue. And everything worked because Chad’s Fab and crew ! Great job !
Love how everyone works together for the common good getting these broken vehicles fixed and back on the road. Thanks Fab Rats, Chad's Fabs, and all had fun.
I’m really happy to have come across this channel. Of course in the TH-cam game and any sort of social media influencer position you only see one side of the creator but it’s honestly so refreshing to see a guy like Chad on here because you can tell he is just a genuinely good human being. You can tell his moral compass is on track and that is only improved by the fact that he does some really stellar work and you can see his knowledge showing through. Keep up the good work the world needs more wholesome content like what you put out.
From those of us that could not be at KOH we give you many many thanks. 😊 would it be greedy to ask if you have more KOH video you could share with us? Thank you again and take care.
"Guaranteed! If I wouldn't have wired it, it wouldn't have broke!" That is just classic. Great to watch a bunch of good people having some good fun! Thank you for the content.
Matt's wrecker climbing that hill is pretty amazing, but mad props to Paul for showing that lockers and gears can make a "smaller" (if you can call it that) rig climb just as well.
Was pretty great to see the first recovery in the heavy wrecker be Matt & Rudy working it together. Can't wait to see the full video. Great job on all of the projects lately Chad!
L ooks like a lot of fun. testing Matt's monster recovery truck was great to see. Iam sure Matt can fix all the problems with the weak link items. thats what testing is all about. It makes one better in the long run. Best to bleed in the testing stage rather than in the field recovering someone, not in combat. Good luck keep the videos comin.
I see, the opening scene is just showing off! or testing the suspension? hehehehehehe! Big smile on his face. Like the split front and rear views - Well done!
Chad, you going over the whoopty doos at a high rate of speed reminded me me of being on the lake with a lot of waves! If you go fast you only hit the high spots and not drop in between them ☺️ The transmissions reminds me of our company moto, Remember to just do with what you have where you are and be quick about it. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Stay safe healthy and happy 👍
I love looking at my phone and seeing a new video released from one of my “gangs” I saw you had some transmission issues, I think you had enough time to work it out. It’s great seeing everyone playing together. My new saying is “Safety Third” today. I know that we’re all related somehow man. “I’ll treat your drill bits like your children do.” They just keep coming. “Hey dad, your truck is on fire 🔥” It’s still under warranty right
@@chadsfab Seriously Chad, you have a great way of doing things. I watch all you guys and I really enjoy the fact that you’re all together in one way or another.
It's crazy to actually see Matt's off road wrecker out in the open. It was IMO impossible to judge against anything, without being against something. Seems like he's got the right idea, for sure. Some lockers and a drive train that will sustain that un-sprung weight, and he's got a big winner there. Looking forward to the future of that machine.
Look at all those cameras pointing towards the broken wrecker! Paul will be sitting back home watching that moment over n over again. I can imagine some banter posts will be travelling to and fro.
It must be very satisfying to see vehicles you worked on out there running. I'm pretty sure Matt's wrecker's breakdown wasn't electrical. 😉 Nice in the field repair on the transmission case.
split screen awesome. love your blazer. did you ever ask Matt if he is compensating fir anything🤭. Paul really super capable with his rig. wow people drive crazy there.
Boy Paul's little truck is strong man he towed that heavy wrecker around pretty easy. Hey thanks much for the video Chad. Your rig go's pretty good to.
Being able to adapt is the real MacGyver test. Mechanics seem to do four wheeling or drag racing/dirt track round track stuff a lot. Good thing Matt learned what he needs to improve/upgrade before the off road wrecker games. Every time something breaks it’s a chance to upgrade. So much torque to handle. In Matt’s line of work U-joints must take a beating pulling vehicles out of the sand, lots of torque and shock loading of the drivetrain.
I just want to say as I stand here in front of my 1971 Cheyenne super short box 4 x 4, highly optioned restored trailer queen that your blazer is incredible. Congratulations! My truck is totally restored to stock, but your blazer sounds like a lot more fun.
Nice to see you all guys together! Impressive participation, it's something in Europe I cannot imagine possible ever. Chad, I suppose you have comfortable seats😉 I remember the bumpy road on video beginning :)
Well done Chad, your filming is vastly superior to all of the others and Stacey you've done and awesome job with the editing. It's really nice to pull back and see more of the surroundings, it gives a far greater idea of what you are dealing with. I'm so happy to see you out in the Blazer, especially when you ripped over the whoopties so fast. I love your channel, I love that you have your whole family involved together and everyone gets to participate. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of Paul's wrecker build. Thanks for taking us along.
I love this whole group its just one big family of everyone no one left behind but luckily Paul was there to save Matt LOL . stay safe all of you. we need many more vidoes to come
Breaking stuff and finding weak points seems to be part of the process. Seems to be a pretty cool rig and we look forward to the content it will bring.
Great coverage of all the various events. The Blazer looks sweet, and definitely has the beans! I thought you were going to shake your liver loose on those whoops!!! Great to see everyone helping each other - it's what this sport is all about. "Remember, you can lead a horticulture, but ice cream has no bones..." ;-)
Thanks Chad. Great collection of clips and events - wrecker looked great. Your rig looked great as well - sounds like fun. Hope trip back went well too
That was an interesting all-rounder Chad, thanks for the video. I hope Matt can repair his wrecker before the games. It looked as though you all had a good time out there, it must be absolutely satisfying to play with vehicles for a living and every now and again, get time out to play. Sounds great to me. Stay safe and I'll look forward to your next one.
Watching Matt's Offroad Wrecker effortlessly climb that first obstacle was mind blowing. Thanks for all the hard work you put into it!
But the next climb gravity got hold of it.
