At the start line @0:06?? If you look at the road, the cars, the flags and the fence, the textures look like something you'd see in a Playstation game. Then the cars start moving and it really looks weird.

The tesla only won because it started out in the front. The tesla was actually pretty slow in the corners and blocking the chiron and this was the only thing preventing the Bugatti from blasting away to victory

Yeah, battery technology is not quite there yet. Some studies show that the waste produced by the batteries in addition to the source used to charge them makes them worse than fossil fuel cars. I don’t know how true this is, but I think switching to more renewable energies as well as longer lasting batteries with more recyclable parts is important.
That was my thoughts exactly as the Tesla has 600 plus miles of range and the Bugatti not so much as at those speeds it would be lucky to get 90-100 miles on a full tank at normal highway speeds so it would be a lot less when maxing it out for this length of time.

This is pretty accurate. The Tesla’s nowadays actually handle like that wobble a little, but still just blow away the competition. I’m sure they got the rest of the numbers right. Even the motor sound is pretty accurate. This is most likely going to be accurate for the base model. Can’t imagine what the updates version will have. Probably don’t have tires rated for it yet.

Yes this is CGI but when the Roadster 2 comes out it will be powered by solid core battery plus ultra capacitors from Maxwell and will accelerate at 1.9 seconds from zero to 60 mph and has a top speed of more than 250 MPH. So this is exactly what will happen to Bugatti, maybe even worse considering those figures...
I don't think solid state batteries will be ready until the roadster comes out... Also i don't think there will be ultracaps in it... But it doesn't need all of that... They can just put their 2170 cells into the roadster and it will still be able to hit the announced specs...

And if it's going to use a 200KwH battery as they claim, it's going to be a seriously heavy car. Even if it had a lower center of gravity, the Chiron is obviously wider, and some may argue it's lower. Considering all these factors, I seriously doubt the Roadster will beat the Chiron.

Also Model S is using 18650 cells that are less energy dense so just using the same number of cells that the Model S has (considering they are also bigger) will probably already give you more than 150kWh. Then they just need to stack two rows of cells above each other in some places (will increase the hight of the vehicle floor by a few inches) and you have a 200 kWh pack... Also there will probably be cells where the frunk is normally located in other teslas and there will also probably be space for like 20-30kWh of battery there.... And how is the Model S far from the Roadster? It's a luxury sedan... and still does 2.4 secons 0-60... Top speed is not about batteries, more about how they design the motors and the gearbox...so yeah... the specs are achievable with 2170 cells...

The outside of the vehicle will be fitted with ten SpaceX cold air rocket thrusters. They basically act in any way you want. Breaking, acceleration, or downforce. @Hello World If you imagine the down force that a wing produces - that is what they are replicating. The electric motors propel the car - the cold thrusters just add short transition directional force. Just like the F9 rockets power the lift and the CGT rockets push the craft onto orbital position. That is the great thing about mixing engineering disciplines - it always adds a layer of "this can't be possible" until it is. The motors are all you need to push - the rockets are powerful enough to help direct.

I can tell you it is not only possible - it is going to happen. Have you ever seen a video of a scuba tank or any high-pressure air canister (02, N20, Helium) get the valve knocked off under pressure? It becomes a missile and will plow through 2-3 cement block walls before burying itself 4 feet deep into the ground. We may need to agree to disagree until the unveil - but I have my money on Tesla on this one. Physics are not holding back the possibility in any way. Search for "gas cilinder missle" on youtube and you will see what I am talking about.

Again - this is not intended to propel the car, Tesla has already demonstrated that they can achieve a conservative 0-60 in under 2 seconds on electric motors alone - it is designed to increase contact with the road, and act as a large wing (placed wherever you want it). The Bugatti has that monster wing on the back - but the Tesla doesn't. The CGT would act as that wing giving the car the same advantage. It is not only possible - it is already built and it works. SpaceX builds these now - so I don't think it is unreasonable that taking a piece of existing technology and applying it to another application is a stretch in any way. We are not talking about 20lbs of pressure - COPV tanks are pressurized at over 380 bar (793647.34036773 per sq. foot). Do the math and you will understand that is more than enough stored power to accomplish the required thrust. Also - there is no need to call anyone names - science is science, I have a Masters in applied mathematics, I'm married to a Ph.D. and my sister has worked in the space industry for the better part of 15 years as a project lead for NASA subcontractors specializing in lidar design and implementation. If you can mathematically prove me incorrect - I'll reverse my position.

Have you ever seen a video of a scuba tank or any high-pressure air canister (02, N20, Helium) get the valve knocked off under pressure? It becomes a missile and will plow through 2-3 cement block walls before burying itself 4 feet deep into the ground. We may need to agree to disagree until the unveil - but I have my money on Tesla on this one. Physics are not holding back the possibility in any way. Search for "gas cilinder missle" on youtube and you will see what I am talking about.

Again - this is not intended to propel the car, Tesla has already demonstrated that they can achieve a conservative 0-60 in under 2 seconds on electric motors alone - it is designed to increase contact with the road, and act as a large wing (placed wherever you want it). The Bugatti has that monster wing on the back - but the Tesla doesn't. The CGT would act as that wing giving the car the same advantage. It is not only possible - it is already built and it works. SpaceX builds these now - so I don't think it is unreasonable that taking a piece of existing technology and applying it to another application is a stretch in any way. We are not talking about 20lbs of pressure - COPV tanks are pressurized at over 380 bar (793647.34036773 per sq. foot). Do the math and you will understand that is more than enough stored power to accomplish the required thrust. Also - there is no need to call anyone names - science is science, I have a Masters in applied mathematics, I'm married to a Ph.D. and my sister has worked in the space industry for the better part of 15 years as a project lead for NASA subcontractors specializing in lidar design and implementation. If you can mathematically prove me incorrect - I'll reverse my position.
