Thanks for purchasing! Luckily the F-20 functions in the same was as the Forge 15, it's just built with premium materials and provides more power. This video should answer all your questions. If you have further questions just reach out and we'll be sure do what we can. Cheers!
@@hitchfire8098 just got mine today and after initial burning I grilled some bratwurst, ribs, and back straps and the grill was awesome. I chose to hook up to a 20lbs propane tank instead of the 1lbs tanks. Cleaning was a breeze and I already can't wait for the next time to use it again. I know if I'm heading out all I need is seasoned raw meat and I'm set to cook. No more getting hungry and waiting to get home. Thanks, Hitchfire!

I'm looking at one of these to mount on my teardrop's driver-side hitch mount. I'd like to cook either under the galley in back or to the side; do I want the driver or passenger side swing arm model? I think passenger side but wanted to verify.
@@DavidHancock Hi David - the main reason one would pick a driver or passenger side swing is if they had a rear swing out door. For example a Jeep has a swing out door to the passenger side so you would want a driver side swing out grill. In your case the rear door swings up so it really doesn't matter unless there are other items, like a drawer, that pull or swing out on one of the sides. You would want the grill on the opposite side. And yes, you can use cast iron pans, griddles, etc. We also sell a flat top for similar cooking methods.
The weight is roughly 73 pounds together with the grill and the swingarm. You can remove the grill from the swingarm which is about 32 pounds by itself. We will have locking hitch pins on the website in the next couple of days!
@@hitchfire8098 Good to know. So far, I'm loving my Forge F20. I don't think there's a portable grill that attaches to the hitch that can beat this one. I added the side burner to it and will have a tote with all the necessary items that I use with the grill and I'm all set!
As long as it has a 2" hitch receiver it would work. You will need to check for clearances and might need a riser to get it high enough. We have installed them on Subaru Outbacks.
I bought our new Hitchfire grill the beginning of summer 2021 for our yearly summer adventure. I Installed it on my class A RV without any issues. However, after our first use we were very disappointed. The very first thing I noticed is that the grill itself is never level, and rocks side to side, and front to back a great deal. No matter what position I put it in, it is still never level. This causes issues with items slidding off the two folding trays, and just looks weird. Very frustrating. Also, half way through our 7500 mile trip, we also had a small fire which came out from the propane gas components on the sides, and under the grill where the bottles are attached. One of the metal pipes had moved away from it's original position during transit causing gas, and flames to come out from it. It scared the crap out of us! I will be contacting the company as we just got home a couole days ago. I will write an update on any fixes they recommend, and/or their customer service. Great concept, but the grill clearly needs some improvements to work properly in the manner in which it was designed for.
Yes the license plate holder comes with the grill and instructions to assemble are in the user manual. Feel free to reach out with any questions for installation, but it’s very easy to install.
Very nice product and even a better presentation 👍. That sure made me feel hungry 😋
Would love to see the new F20 product demo. That's what I just purchased and can't wait to see and use it.

Also, we don't cook directly on grates when camping. Can we use our calling pans and cast iron griddles and skillets one these?

Thx for the video. Any idea on the overall weight and do you know if there’s an option for a locking hitch pin?

Do you offer replacement parts like the burner tube or the auto lighter part? Just curious just in case I have one go bad.
Yes we have replacement parts for all components of the grill.

Is the Hitchfire arm the same as the margaritaville grill arm?
It is not exactly the same as it has a few enhancements but does fit the collar of the Margaritaville grill so will work with it.
@@evancurrid4822 is there a basket with a cooler and rod holder for it?
I want one, but i prefer charcoal over propane
Will they have a model in the future?
No plans at this time, but there will soon be a wood essence burning kit
is there a way to secure it to the hitch so that it can not be stolen?
You didn't see that pad lock part homie??
Can this be installed on sedans? 18 Kia Optima?

What size socket wrench is needed?
