I have a theory. What if Daniel's power is not only telekinesis but a power much bigger and it's actually time travel where he can move space (telekinesis) and time? That makes so much more sense. So after the ending, Daniel is used to traveling alone so he travels the world and in one of the timelines he goes to Seattle and meets Max & Chloe (4 years later from life is strange 1) so they have a baby called 'david junior'. Daniel sees the 2 mums in the supermarket and asks them: hi, I'm new, can you guide me in this city? Max looked at Chloe surprised and doubts what to do. Chloe then says: yes of course! Now Daniel, Max and Chloe with the baby in the trolley are chilling and slowly passing the shops and malls. Daniel then says 'i have a secret power', I will give Max a part of my gift as thanks and so shall it be. Daniel then closed it eyes and imagined him 4 years ago and teleports to young Max. It was the day that Max would go on a long and difficult adventure after seeing a butterfly. Daniel then raises his hand outside of blackwell university and aims his hand towards Max. Max is in the class and suddenly Max gains a vision of the future. Life is Strange ended, the ending begins. Daniel then becomes a Blackwell student with the same name Daniel (from LiS 1, episode 1 where Daniel is sitting at the tree). Daniel teleports to the future to have a talk with old grandpa Warren (from life is strange 1). The 80 years old Warren agrees with Daniel, and they both teleport back in time to the day of Max first day she discovers her powers. Old Warren becomes the janitor and calls himself Samuel to guide 'young max'

As a latin-american myself, this episode really hit home. The whole confronting the police thing especially. I've had a gun pointed at me for my ethnicity because of some misunderstanding like that one. Sean's dad wishing him a happy birthday (which was what was written on the sketchbook, feliz cumpleanos) was actually what got me teary. A lot of the things in this episode were really close to what actually happens in my life, so it was a really refreshing thing to see. From the chock-o-crisp court to their family dynamics, it was really amazing. Unlike Sean though, I have a ton of siblings. 14, to be exact. But overall, it was amazing. (Also like if you come across more words in spanish, it's kinda funny to hear you try to pronounce them ^^)

There's too much emphasis on violent force and not enough on descalation. I know it must be a difficult and scary job. It's something in like with EMTs, ER doctors, and firemen. There's a lot of stress there but if a doctor starts messing up and killing patients, the hospital gets sued and the doctor can't practice anymore. But if a cop shoots a black kid they move them districts. If being an officers was seen as being a civil servant rather than goonie enforcers there would be less deaths. It's easy to say don't move or follow orders but then there's a gun to your head and you know you didn't do anything but they're not listening, it's really fucking scary. Police have so much power over civilians, especially civilians of color. As scary as it is for the officers, it's even scarier for those on the opposite sides. Again, I know there are significantly more great cops than bad but I also know we have a problem and plenty of officers themselves agree.

This hit really close to home. As a Mexican-American a lot of this brought back nostalgia and memories. Sean reminds me so much of my own 16 year old brother. My little brother as most kids his age loves to party and dabble with girls and other things. And just as Sean, my own young brother has been discriminated against for his dark complexion. My own brother has had to put up with rude and racist cops. My own brother has had to defend himself against racist peers. I think I have a soft spot for this game because of all of that.
I never had to deal with that as an immigrant, which just makes it so much more obvious that the targeting is based on looks. Even when I spoke portuguese, all I got was dirty looks and people asking me if I was East European - in 11 years here, I only had someone tell me to go back to my own country once.
Kassandra Tellez I cried when that scene happened because it happened once to me, my friend and I were walking after school and playing around as kids do and a cop pulled over and had his hand on his gun as he walked to us and yelled at us to show our hands and get on the ground (mind you I was taught by my brother on how to respond to this situation because the same thing happened to him when he was 15 he’s an adult now but he will never forget that day he was tackled in front of our home) ... I’ll leave it at that but the point it it’s a very difficult time for Latinos and that scene represents that, because despite us just being some teenagers this cop harassed us and no one batted and eye. As an immigrant in another country for 12 years now, ive been through almost the same senarios as your brother. Teachers these days are fucking useless and take bullying very lightly. Ive been bullied for 7 years straight and i went to the teachers but they only helped the bullies. Thats when my disorders kicked in as well as anger issues feom holding in for far too long so one day i got so angry i snapped and brought a bat to school and whacked a cunt on the back of the head almost killing him. Never regret it ever and from that day forward the bullying stopped and after that i self taught martial arts like boxing and MMA for 6 years now. Bullying (especially racism) is a very heavy topic and should be dealt immediately and NEVER rely on teachers.
Jack has a point on being open with your kids. I mean it doesn't work on everyone but personally I pride myself on being responsable when it comes to parties. I dont drink more than I can take, don't smoke any drugs I know I cant handle and I always have a plan and a backup plan on how to get to a party and how to get home. My mom however has always been distrustful of me so Ive learnt to tip toe around her and have on several occasions told her lies that could've been easily avoided if she had only trusted that she taught me well. Our relationship wouldn't be so strained if that were the case.
Gotta give your parents more responsibility and understand that our parents aren't gods. Call them out on their shit because their behavior and actions and mistakes could become yours some day.
I donno. I personally think if your under 18 then you shouldnt drink / smoke / do drugs. Why start bad habits in the first place? I mean, I would gladly give my kid money for a party but not if he wants drugs. I would expect my kids to be above the peer pressure of doing drugs / alcohol, just so they can be popular. If they wanna be a victim of peer pressure, then choose the kind that isn't super deadly like wearing name brand clothes lol. Id throw my kid a few extra bucks for better clothes or something to boost their self esteem. But hell no to even starting a smoking/drinking habit. As a latin-american myself, this episode really hit home. The whole confronting the police thing especially. I've had a gun pointed at me for my ethnicity because of some misunderstanding like that one. Sean's dad wishing him a happy birthday (which was what was written on the sketchbook, feliz cumpleanos) was actually what got me teary. A lot of the things in this episode were really close to what actually happens in my life, so it was a really refreshing thing to see. From the chock-o-crisp court to their family dynamics, it was really amazing. Unlike Sean though, I have a ton of siblings. 14, to be exact.
But overall, it was amazing. (Also like if you come across more words in spanish, it's kinda funny to hear you try to pronounce them ^^)

I know first hand that there can be corrupt cops out there. I had bad experiences in Lousiana with them but growing up with two cops in your house will teach you tons of shit most people probably don't know about cops.

There's too much emphasis on violent force and not enough on descalation. I know it must be a difficult and scary job. It's something in like with EMTs, ER doctors, and firemen. There's a lot of stress there but if a doctor starts messing up and killing patients, the hospital gets sued and the doctor can't practice anymore. But if a cop shoots a black kid they move them districts. If being an officers was seen as being a civil servant rather than goonie enforcers there would be less deaths. It's easy to say don't move or follow orders but then there's a gun to your head and you know you didn't do anything but they're not listening, it's really fucking scary. Police have so much power over civilians, especially civilians of color. As scary as it is for the officers, it's even scarier for those on the opposite sides. Again, I know there are significantly more great cops than bad but I also know we have a problem and plenty of officers themselves agree.

This hit really close to home. As a Mexican-American a lot of this brought back nostalgia and memories.
Sean reminds me so much of my own 16 year old brother. My little brother as most kids his age loves to party and dabble with girls and other things. And just as Sean, my own young brother has been discriminated against for his dark complexion. My own brother has had to put up with rude and racist cops. My own brother has had to defend himself against racist peers.
I think I have a soft spot for this game because of all of that.
I'm glad dontnod isn't afraid to bring issues like this to light because of this very reason. I'm sorry for what your brother's had to deal with.
I never had to deal with that as an immigrant, which just makes it so much more obvious that the targeting is based on looks. Even when I spoke portuguese, all I got was dirty looks and people asking me if I was East European - in 11 years here, I only had someone tell me to go back to my own country once.

I cried when that scene happened because it happened once to me, my friend and I were walking after school and playing around as kids do and a cop pulled over and had his hand on his gun as he walked to us and yelled at us to show our hands and get on the ground (mind you I was taught by my brother on how to respond to this situation because the same thing happened to him when he was 15 he’s an adult now but he will never forget that day he was tackled in front of our home) ... I’ll leave it at that but the point it it’s a very difficult time for Latinos and that scene represents that, because despite us just being some teenagers this cop harassed us and no one batted and eye. It makes me so angry that this is something we live with because I was born here just like that cold was but he only saw the pigment of our skin and based it of that. I’m glad that this game is showing this and showing that everyone is affected by racism from the police, the people who are supposed to be protecting us are hurting us.
As an immigrant in another country for 12 years now, ive been through almost the same senarios as your brother. Teachers these days are fucking useless and take bullying very lightly. Ive been bullied for 7 years straight and i went to the teachers but they only helped the bullies. Thats when my disorders kicked in as well as anger issues feom holding in for far too long so one day i got so angry i snapped and brought a bat to school and whacked a cunt on the back of the head almost killing him. Never regret it ever and from that day forward the bullying stopped and after that i self taught martial arts like boxing and MMA for 6 years now. Bullying (especially racism) is a very heavy topic and should be dealt immediately and NEVER rely on teachers.

Jack has a point on being open with your kids. I mean it doesn't work on everyone but personally I pride myself on being responsable when it comes to parties. I dont drink more than I can take, don't smoke any drugs I know I cant handle and I always have a plan and a backup plan on how to get to a party and how to get home. My mom however has always been distrustful of me so Ive learnt to tip toe around her and have on several occasions told her lies that could've been easily avoided if she had only trusted that she taught me well. Our relationship wouldn't be so strained if that were the case.
Gotta give your parents more responsibility and understand that our parents aren't gods. Call them out on their shit because their behavior and actions and mistakes could become yours some day.
I donno. I personally think if your under 18 then you shouldnt drink / smoke / do drugs. Why start bad habits in the first place? I mean, I would gladly give my kid money for a party but not if he wants drugs. I would expect my kids to be above the peer pressure of doing drugs / alcohol, just so they can be popular. If they wanna be a victim of peer pressure, then choose the kind that isn't super deadly like wearing name brand clothes lol. Id throw my kid a few extra bucks for better clothes or something to boost their self esteem. But hell no to even starting a smoking/drinking habit. Its one of the more pointless things to do, and its just another pointless bill to pay.
