Got our rig just the summer before last and boy is it awesome!!! The amount of work it saves you is astounding... I'm tired just thinking about it!! It does a beautiful job and does so much... BEAUTIFUL EQUIPMENT AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!
I've got a cyclone rake classic and I bought it 2nd hand. It's a well built, well engineered machine and picks up leaves and grass great. I does best when its dry,but still works pretty well even if they're damp. I use mine with a ten year old cub cadet ltx1040 with a 42" deck. It's not the best mower, but it gets the job done.
I am going to give theses cats some love even tho, like all other technology, the gear got better and the cost went down after I bought mine. I drove to Pick my Cyclone Rake up back in the early days, LIKE WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT. I go no connection to these cats, as a matter of fact, I would later learn they sold me more stuff than I needed. Here is the deal, 3 states and many years later the Cyclone Rake is the Cats Azz! I love it. Has not ever failed once except for stooped me leaving fuel in the carb one winter and having to clean the carb bowl of jelled fuel. My fault. All parts everything still working. I admit, I was pist when I saw the newer ones come out and at a lower price but we all know you by a product, in most cases, next year its nicer and costs less. I Love This Machine!
Not only does this seem like good, thoughtful engineering all the way around, but it's also a very well-done infomercial. I admit the music is a bit on the annoying side, but they tell you everything you want to know.
I've owned my for 17 years and it has been one of the best investments I've ever made. I have not had one problem in all of those years. if your thinking about buying one of those Home Depot or Lowes products.forget about it.nothing but problems .for the money this is the one.
I bought this because they ship it Fedex ground in small boxes. That was a lot easier than trying to get the competitor's vacuum off a semi truck without a pallet jack at home.
@@cathylee3641 th-cam.com/video/UjkmYeRJVio/w-d-xo.html Hopefully this helps answer your question. I'll see if I can find more videos with it sucking up pine needles.
It keeps all of the hose's straight and not kinking up thus plugging up, and it makes it much easier when your turning and backing up it doesn't jack knife,I've had mine going on 17 seasons this year and it's the best money I've ever spent.
Raking leaves probably gives more of a workout than using a blower. The benefits vary. It depends I guess on how you structure your composting as well. jtrader.hubpages.com/hub/Toro-51609-Electric-Leaf-Blower-Review-Low-Noise-Mulcher-Vacuum
Yeah, but it can strain your back. Plus it can take hours to get all of the leaves together. I'd rather use a lawn vacuum. It's easier, kinda like mowing the lawn.
Show me it collecting wet leaves, show it filling the bag without cloging. And show me the hose attachment picking up wet leaves on a roadside that have been run in. Show me that and i will buy one :)
Is that the Beverley Hillbillies theme song? Oh, why not just run over the leaves with your mower and mulch them up? Good for the lawn. And, since you all ready spent $2000,on a mower, save another $2000.
I made my own system like a lot of guys did in the videos on here. It cost me about $200, ( not $2000 ) no extra motor to maintain, just Gator blades. Works like a champ and my leaves were WAY deeper than this video shows, and my trailer about twice as big as this one. Sometimes my tractor, 24 HP Craftsman - 48 inch cut, was pushing leaves in front of me ! I could clear 1 1/2 acres in about 2 hours. I only had to drive them out in the woods and dump them....non stop, and right back to the lawn !! Made the job so much easier and FUN that I did 3 of my neighbors lawns for free ! Well they always gave me a tip and some beer.... DONE DEAL !!! Almost bought a Cyclone Rake but glad I didn't. They mount rigid to the frame of your tractor. Every time you turn a corner it stresses the frame and will eventually crack or break your frame unless you have a heavy duty cast iron frame, which most tractors do NOT. I hear they are PRICKS to work for, and the sucker is way to much money. I don't support companies like that.
Hi Mike - No need to demand...We have the best warranty/guarantee in the industry. If you purchased the unit from us and are using it at your home, we have a complete 1-year guarantee to get your money back. Or, if it's still under our 3-year warranty, we'll gladly replace it as long as it wasn't neglect or misuse that caused the failure. The housings have been in production for 20+ years and rarely have we seen a housing break. But if it happened and it's a material defect...no problem. Please give our support team a call at 888-531-7253 and we'll get this resolved.

EXCELLENT video - Very thorough and informative!
I can't take the credit for it. The people who make the Cyclone Rake gets full credit. :)

They seem like great lawn vacs. This video is from a informational DVD that Cyclone Rake sent me. Luckily there's no copyright issues. :)

They did a good job. I would've tossed the banjos though.

I dont have one yet but can't wait to get the XL rake
I luv the blugrass music
I love my cyclone rake. But this year have issues turning it off. It keeps running. There’s no on & off button.
A badass machine I sure could use one
I'm thinkin about gettin one for sure
I think my mind on fall cleanups just flipped!
+Flip Gravity Lol
Where do I get the power bagger accessory? I don't see it on the website.
What do you do with all those leaves? Why did this demo show the end results?
How well does it work picking up pine needles?
I've never used one before, but it should work. It's supposed to be a good tow behind lawn vacuum.
That's what I want to know, does it really work on pine needles? Some sites states it does but, I haven't seen a video proving it.

I have used mine to pick up all kinds of stuff with mine never had a problem and this will be my 17th season.
very well.
My buddy just gave me one. No bag though but I dont know which model I have
Nice video
I dont get why it does not pivot like a trailer

Its designed not to pivot like a trailer
NO NO NO FELLAS!!! AFTER YOU GET YOUR LEAF PILES MADE.... "THE FLIPPIN WIND COMES"!!!! LOOL!
Video is great. Music is too loud. I tried turning the sound down but Then I could not hear what the man said. I have a Commander and love it.
I wasn't able to do anything about the music. This was ripped from their information DVD, so unfortunately I wasn't able to reduce the music volume.
@@RyanSellman1 thanks
I'll call it, "The Hedgehog-Twister".
Please, turn down the volume of the background music!
This video was ripped from the promo DVD. I have no way to turn down the banjos.

Tell Cyclone Rake that. They made the video.
So why put it on your channel?
+Scott Thomson Because it was vacuum related. It is a lawn vacuum so it fits.
So the fact you nothing about it makes do diffrence???
+Scott Thomson I didn't understand a word you said. I'm sure it does best with dry leaves since that's what it's designed for.
A commercial with commercials in it and no price

Jeez this music is nauseating:-/
I didn't put the music on the video. This video is ripped from a demonstration DVD that I got from Cyclone Rake a couple of years ago.
Haha, yeah I didn't think you put it in there. I could tell it was from a promo DVD.
Besides if I were to put music in my videos, it sure as hell wouldn't be banjos.
Would hip hop make it more woodzy and appealing to you?
Look at how slow he's going, X-Mark and other commercial tractors have better systems.

Art Hilliker you should post a video showing how you built yours. I’d be interested in that.
@@arthilliker4963 Do you have any directions on how to build you own and a materials list?
