Good day Ben. Great video. Love them when they are a little long. Tell the chickens hello. Please take care and be safe. Talk to you later my friend. ☺☺☺😇😇😇
Epic cleanup. Listening is the best complement to me cleaning up. The sound of clanking metal at the scrapyard is the sound of hard work done and progress made and motivates me to keep cleaning up. Hi from Wisconsin.
Glad you got your guys more money for their boards. Aww. Love you buddy! You've impressed me with your wisdom and kindness today. And remind me why i treasure your videos. Patience and understanding to top it off. Ill share a quote with you. Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.
You mentioned your new drill bit drives; but you’ve yet to use them.. ?? 🤣. I’m so happy for your encouragement I’ve been stockpiling for three years.. totally AGREE!! You the bomb!
Your lucky to have such a clean scrap yard. Every yard in my area is all dirt and mud roads. Your literally driving over sharp metal. If you don't get a nail or screw in your tires it's a good day.
Great episode! "Behind this wall of PCs is the elusive shed I haven't been in in a year, and it's full of.." and then my mind automatically filled in "lots of dangerous Australian wildlife"... Good luck clearing everything and stay safe Ben!!
Enjoying the marathon, thanks Ben. I liked the gold discussion. Gold should be a part of every investors portfolio. Like you, I only recommend physical gold.
52:30. Trying to explain why those copper top IC's dont have as much gold as the normal gold corner chips? Yes, they contain just as much gold as the regular ones do, they just have the added copper top on them. The gold bonding wires on them are the same.. I have processed many of them.
Hey Ben, Does your yard take plug ends separately instead of throwing them in as dirty steel? My yard has a category called "Brass Recovery". They take separated plug ends and I generally get 3 times the price of dirty steel.
@@eWasteBen I do take the brass prongs off the larger plugs from stoves and other appliances, the rest I dont bother. Canadian yards are 6.75 cents per pound on dirty metal versus 20-25 cents per pound on brass recovery. It is a big difference and plug ends with plastic housing add up very quick in weight as you know...
I grab the plug with channel locks and grasp the brass with side cutters. Instead of cutting I roll and pull the brass out. Then I cut the bit of clean copper wire off and put the brass in dirty brass. It usually has copper, solder or something on it. I would cut it clean but I have way more dirty brass to sell then clean. Keeps my piles moving.
Great Video Ben hey I went Street Scrapping yesterday I come on bunch cords and I seen a pretty rop it was red and yellow and black I went pick it up it was a snake it scare the hell out of me man you would have laughed at me lol Keep Bringing The Video's Dude 👍👍
Hi Ben . How do you process power cables? Do you cut ends off and sell as is or do you strip them off the insulation? and if so just the outer or the insulation off the 3 wires too?
There is ewaste refiners here in us that charge by the pound to process ,its more for buyers than sellers because you need tons of weight to get a reasonable price for processing.
Plus just so you know you need sharp cutters. SHARP BLADE. Get a pair of aviation snips that will go around the whole bundle of wires you want to cut and not one wire at a time in a bundle of 3. All the scrappers I watch including myself use the aviation snips and one used garden shears to greater advantage. Just suggesting
I live on the border of vic and nsw and we have to get work permits to go over through nsw services... so you will have to get one throw your state website and if you do you might be able to street scrap again with a work permit mate
Did you give up on removing DVD drives from the computers again? At over $2000 an ounce us for gold, every little bit counts. I saw you remove the screws from the drive, but you didn't take out the drive! 22:00.
Have you considered a Fiat Ducato/Renault Master/Vauxhall Vivano (orwhatever they are sold as in Australia)?. They have loads of poke, are front wheel drive, have a low load height and are really superb to drive. My local Ambulance Trust is switching from Mercedes to Fiat due to the better build quality and handling.
Yeah gold has gone way up but we will see it start drop again and silver is at all time high as well. I've already melted down about 8 lbs of gold but getting ready to get after my silver stock pile to see what i got in silver
Hello Ben, I am not sure if you read my comment in Part 2. What you were saying here is what I was suggesting to set some targets like first clear stuff in front of your garage door, etc. Surprised to see you talk most of my stuff here. I suggest few more things to make it more interesting. Please make one yard run content in each of the Parts. I noticed, you were strangely quite in the yard this time. Compare to your earlier yard runs, you didn't speak as muchor compared to as much as you speak while scrapping. Another suggestion. If you see anything in bulk, lets say the switches in front of your garage door, you set a task of clearing them all. Scrap one or two on camara and tell viewers that the rest will be off camara and in the next frame show the empty space. It gives a sense of fulfillment. Another suggestion : You said on record that you want to stash your gold bearing stuff for retirement, right? In this Part, you said you did not enter the garage in one year. That is the kind of stashing your gold requires. It wont require visits and you dont fell bad about not processing the stuff in there for a year. Two birds with a stone. Pack all your gold stuff in identical, easy to handle packing, lets say a 10 kilo plastic containers neatly stacked against the farthest side of your garage. One more suggestion : You had a big lot of brass some where near your chicken house. All big stuff. Get rid of them while you get good prices. It was more than 100 kilo the last time I saw.
For a work permit just make an oficial paper with your company name, signed and stamped stating that at this date and time as part of your scrapping busines you are travelling between home adress and scrap yard adress in order to deliver scrap. Since you are the boss it does not make much sense because you can make whatever paper for yourself, the problem is for employees going to the beach or whatever and saying it's a business trip.
How for one of the iMac you are scrapping today? Also I need to know your address I am going to send you something you have mentioned wanting for your screw tips. I am in need of a small PC no HDD or ram needed the ram I have is Samsung 4gb 1Rx8 PC3L-12800S-11-13-B4. If you need more info let me know. I have the ram and HDD with Windows 10. Just looking for an affordable PC. The Mac is just something I want to tinker with.
Okay finally found the time to finish. Wow Ben, very nice load. However, would of liked to have heard the weights! LOL, tired heah? I really enjoyed it and looking forward to the next. Take care 👍👍✌️
The freightliner sprinter and dodge sprinter are same as Mercedes sprinter just incase you didn't know , take a look. Not sure what you have over there but likely can find better deals on one without the Mercedes symbol
Living like that would drive me nuts. Stuff all over the place. He's OK with it, so all is fine. But I would want some kind of building with a little office/toilet in some industrial area nearby.
Ben is a self declared, self employed businessman operating from his home with low overheads. He can do what he wants, when he wants, where he wants, which one he wants from the luxury of his home. Even if you offer him free building in Industrial area with office/toilet in his city, he will not take it and still prefer to work from his own home. "Stuff all over the place" ? A successful business requires abundant feed stock, demand for his end product. Consider Stuff all over the place as his feed stock. I feel happy to see Ben sufficiently loaded. He will outlast the restrictions with the feed stock he has.

So the cabbage is for 'sarmale'. Right?
Question. Where Ben has "clean pressing steel" Does anyone in the US do this? Seems to me Weitsman here in the northeast will take it as short steel.
Yeah I think short steel is another term, some call it, in size steel

Hey Ben great vid and during dictator dans stage 4 restrictions you need a permitted worker permit or won’t be able to do business
Very Nice 👏👏
Man I remember using one of those old MacBooks
I'd really like to see you scrap out one of those audio mixers with a hundred knobs on them.
Where do u sell the ram ?

Do you make orange juice with all your oranges?
