This is so heartbreaking 💔. Markie and I went to eighth grade together and our favorite thing to do after school was ride our horses. We were both living in Walnut Creek. Then she attended Lewis and Clark and my mom and I visited her there. Her major: acting! She was so gracious taking us around the campus and introducing her teachers and friends to my mom and me. Taking time out of her busy day. She was one of the sweetest friends and insanely smart. Such a beautiful soul which shone through without her uttering a word. She was an exceptional student and I remember her being a devoted daughter. Keeping her family in my prayers. I am so so sorry.

I was around 10 when I first saw her on a Buck Rogers episode “the plot to kill a city”.
She played “Joella”, and was stunning.
I was about 16 when I later saw her on night court.
Didn’t realize they were the same even though they were both beautiful characters.

I loved night court as a kid and oh man....did i have a MEGA crush on Markie!!! She was funny and all around fun... there's was a rumor that she might return to some capacity even if it was just the occasional cameo, to the Night Court reboot (a continuation of the old show with Melissa Rauch playing a judge who is Harry's daughter!) John Larroquette is going to be in it and maybe 1 or 2 others from the original cast, but seeing Markie in it, just isn't going to happen. She's an 80's tv show icon, a huge crush, a talent and it just hurts to say goodbye.. to yet another part of my youth! Goodnight Markie... thanks for everything! and I still think you're hot!! ;)

My question is why can’t you talk about them before they pass to let them see how loved they really are. I liked that show. I didn’t know she even had cancer. So sorry she passed. May she fly high beautiful Angel 😇
